Responsibilities Writing efficient code using best practices for software development Creating websites using different languages such as HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript Knowledge of mobile applications, computer operating systems and web browsers Working with Web Designers to create websites that matches the visual design intent Communicating with business colleagues to gather and refine requirements and specifications for content development within agreed-upon timelines Researching a variety of software programs Creating and maintaining the documentation for software used Improving and enhancing websites after they have been created i.e security and keeping software up to date, system back-ups etc Developing contingency plans in the event of websites going down Managing and creation of MYSQL databases and hosting environments Domain name management across the company. Installing and maintaining plugins as needed Experience of using the plugin Advanced Custom Fields for developing custom Content Management Systems - creating custom post types, taxonomies and options pages and building custom page layouts using the flexible layout field Extensive knowledge of the WordPress language, functions, and template hierarchy - writing custom queries using page/post meta and custom field values DevOps experience Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills Collaboration as part of a fast-paced Marketing Team API web integration Experience in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Experience of Adobe CC and Figma software Must have IDLR/Full Rights to work in UK.
