Randstad are currently working with a number of secondary schools in the Liverpool area who are seeking additional tutoring support for their pupils with ESOL tuition. The sessions are face to face, not only to build a child's knowledge, but also to exceed their confidence. We are keen to hear from inspiring QTS, NQT's, Teaching Assistant's with Level 1-3 qualifications, HLTA certification or graduates who are considering a career within education. Ideally you will have your DBS on the update service, or willing to acquire one.Pay scale: £25.00 - £28.00 P.A.Y.E Subjects include:ESOL/TEFLBeing a Randstad Tutor offers you:<ul><li>Flexibility to manage your own timetable and workload</li><li>The choice to deliver online or face to face tuition</li><li>Free e-learning training modules</li><li>Opportunity for school holiday tuition delivery</li><li>Access to an online tuition delivery platform</li><li>The opportunity to make a real difference to pupils' outcomes.</li></ul>Key responsibilities:Working with small group cohorts from 1:1 - 1:6Creating lesson plans tailored to the student's learning styleAssessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting systemDeliver engaging sessions to support a range of learning stylesDrive measurable outcomes from each session to measure impactWork collaboratively with educational/care stakeholders ensuring student support.Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines.Desired experience:<ul><li>Experienced in tutoring one to one or small groups of pupils who require additional educational or pastoral support</li><li>Experience working in inclusion units, special settings or alternative provisions</li><li>Experience in working with students with SEN, children with undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people or looked after children</li></ul>Responsibilities:Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s) and build a curriculum, creating lesson plans individual to the student's learning styleAssessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting systemAssisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasksAssisting students in understanding key concepts, especially those learned in the classroomContribute to students' learning, growth and advancementMaintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practiceWork collaboratively with schools, foster carers and social workers in order to ensure the student receives tailored support Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelinesEssential qualities:Inspirational, effective & flexible communications skillsCompetent IT skills, access to laptop/computer, audio and visualStable broadband & internet connectionAbility to develop meaningful relationships, encourage and motivate students.Pay scale: £20.00 - £25.00 P.A.Y.E
