Duties and responsibilities of the Electrical Shift Technician include: •Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on gearboxes, motors, inverter drives PLCs, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications. •Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level anticipating the need for replacement equipment, parts and supplies, contacting suppliers placing orders and verifying receipt.
