To assist with the general running of the Training and Education Department
Welcome visitors to the Education Centre and other sites, signposting staff and visitors as required
Provide a first level of user support to resolve queries via telephone, email, face to face
General routine office procedures, e.g. maintain accurate filing systems both paper based and electronic, photocopying etc.
Use of electronic systems e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel.
Accurate inputting of data using bespoke software e.g. Bookwise, OLM.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of records of attendance.
Ensure course-joining instructions are sent out promptly
Assist with the arrangement and co-ordination of weekly meetings and tutorials for medical staff, liaising with internal and external speakers/presenters as required.
Assist in organisation and coordination of inductions as required.
Assist with the administration of the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and GP training schemes as required
Monitor stationery and highlight deficiencies to the Education Centre Coordinator
Arrange catering as required
Update notice boards within the Centre.
Ensure rooms are presentable prior to each meeting liaising with Facilities staff as required
Arrange furniture as required in meeting rooms, ensure presentation materials are available (e.g. flipcharts, pens, etc.)
Set up and prepare audio visual equipment in meeting rooms ie. PowerPoint, projector, video conferencing etc.
Assist presenters in operation of equipment as required
Report any faults within the department to the Estates and Facilities Department
When necessary be available to cover within the Education and Research Directorate at other Trust locations.
Display behaviours and values at all times that are consistent with those of the Trust
Adhere to Trust policies and procedures and relevant legislation including the requirements of any relevant professional body.

There will also be the requirement of implementing and delivering the Care Certificate programme; where you will deliver the academic elements required for the programme and also work alongside staff to ensure that competence is achieved.
