Interprets a range of diagnostic tests and routine clinical procedures.

Summary of the Role:

As a Velys Digital & Capital EdSol Lead, you will support our Joint Reconstruction Digital Surgery Platform and be responsible for developing & executing the EMEA learning strategies, content, and programs for our commercial organization and healthcare professional (HCP) customers.
+ Our Commercial Education efforts will ensure our that internal / sales training has a high degree of clinical knowledge and elevates competencies of our field-based organization.
+ Our Professional Education program will develop and deploy blended learning continuums that ensure safe and effective use of our products and technologies to external customer stakeholders.
Given the dynamic nature of the digital surgery space and the uniqueness of the launch phase, it is critical this individual is comfortable working in a dynamic and flexible environment where job duties flex between strategy and execution and internal and external education.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Partner with functional & commercial leaders to understand global, regional and local business strategy and commercial models
+ Craft learning strategy and curriculum design (anatomy, product, procedure, clinical, non-clinical)
+ Leverage global and develop region-specific educational content and assets across a wide range of mediums (online courses, video assets, hands on training protocols, teaching aids, etc.)
+ Develop strategies to effectively utilize the online platforms of the Johnson & Johnson Institute and Johnson & Johnson University (including collaboration with our learning technology teams)
+ Ensure all learning content is current, copy approved and compliant with all government and legal requirements
+ Create user friendly asset library to ensure global access to content
+ Identify and evaluate trends in learning media and technology-based performance development solutions to maximize effectiveness and innovation of training programs
+ Facilitate virtual / face-to-face training classes to build clinical and non-clinical proficiency of commercial teams
+ Develop EMEA faculty network and lead curriculum development working groups
+ Collaborate with key stakeholder groups to design a best in class and consistent customer experience across our Training Facilities
Additional duties and responsibilities:
+ Manage and nurture faculty relationships, optimize and expand the EMEA pool of faculty and engage them in the early stage of new projects, as well as manage faculty contracts.
+ Increase access and differentiate through implementation of low cost/high reach digital & technology Education
+ Support the EMEA region for specific projects, partner with the EMEA Marketing organization, local platform champions as well as geography sales and marketing leaders and associates
+ Plan and control the budget of the education courses, and continuously measure and analyze results to suggest and implement improvements in the training pathway
+ Own and manage the copy approval process for the specialty educational assets
+ Master and leverage the relevant systems for the design and execution of educational initiatives, such as: Summit Learning management systems, Axonify, EOS and JJinstitute.com
Qualifications
Required:
+ A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
+ Proven experience of medical device sales or relevant clinical experience required.
+ Commercial experience with complex technologies and/or capital equipment.
+ Experience in the delivery of medical device or professional education programs incl. educational components.
+ Must have in depth knowledge of the relevant specialty and business.
+ Sound business acumen and financial calculation skills to establish dashboards and proven ability to understand business strategy.
+ Ability of working in cross functional teams and across a matrix organization, as well as in a multi-cultural environment including an open mindset to join a new journey, big picture thinking and results orientation.
+ Proven leadership ability to effectively motivate and engage with colleagues and external partners, including remotely.
+ Proven ability to understand business strategy; translate it into solutions that support the company’s business goals.
+ Experience in managing projects, budgets, and analytics.
+ Demonstrates creative, practical problem-solving skills.
+ Organized, with excellent attention to detail.
+ Easily builds rapport with colleagues and external partners.
+ Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
+ Flexible and willing to travel frequently (60% of time).
Preferred:
+ Master Degree or minimum equivalence through experience.
+ Product or sales management experience.
+ Project management experience, preferably with digital technology and/or systems development.
+ Good knowledge and understanding of Legal & Health Care Compliance policies.
+ Experience in Integrity Selling, Launch Excellence, Adult Learning Principles and Instructional Design certified.

Step 2 began on the Bierley estate in Bradford in 1993, when a youth worker assisted a group of young people to secure funding for a project that would give health information to them and their peers.

It has evolved over the years, but still exists to protect and promote the good health of children and young people who are subject to health inequalities within the Bradford Metropolitan District.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity, to be part of a new collaboration between Step 2, JAMES Project and HALE to deliver a school based programme.

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated teacher to work with our two newly appointed youth workers:

Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver a targeted Relationships Sex and Health Education (RSE) Service with schools which complements but does not duplicate or replace the PSHE provision and which supports schools to sustain a good integral sexual health education programme in line with local and national best practice.
  • To deliver effective, high quality Relationships Sex and Health Education, which supports young people to develop safe, healthy relationships, prevent unplanned pregnancy and enable them to fulfil their aspirations and potential.

The Candidate:

You will be a qualified teacher who is comfortable in delivering relationship and sex education in secondary schools. You will work alongside the 2 experienced youth workers, who have already been appointed, and will be based at Step 2, who have a long history of working in this area.
