Brief Description of the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Education Service at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will lead a newly formed team responsible for the delivery, oversight and planning of the Trust’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) agenda.
The post holder will be instrumental in ensuring the clinical workforce has the knowledge, skills and ability to provide a high standard of patient care. Identifying talent pipe lines and supporting effective use of the CPD resource, to the benefit of individuals in their career development and the organisation in relation to service developments. The post holder will also support the education and development of Healthcare Assistants and Overseas nurses within the Trust.
You will need to work independently and make key decisions in the interests of others, in addition to prioritising your work load. There is a requirement to be clinically current and have a keen interest in the development and support of the clinical workforce.
