Job Purpose:
To contribute to the management of the school/service and the delivery of quality education through the appropriate involvement of pupils, staff, parents, other agencies and the community. This will be done in accordance with the Authority’s strategic plan, the school/service improvement plan, national priorities, local improvement objectives, in accordance with current legislation and within national and local agreements.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
Appropriate teaching qualification.
Full GTC (Scotland) registration in the appropriate subject/sector, or be eligible for such registration.

The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

Availability for regular lessons: 'I am considering taking training for three hours a week; Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. I need to take the classes during the day sometime between 10:30 AM and 1:00PM (UK time GMT)'
