Reporting directly to and supporting the Accountant, the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-driven and exceptionally organised.

An exciting position has become available for a full time Assistant Accountant to join a friendly team based in Stevenage. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary. The first interview will be by telephone. Short listed applicants will be invited to the office for a face to face interview. Only applicants with relevant experience will be considered
Role Requirements
•Be able to self-manage – must be motivated and organised
•Be willing to adopt existing systems and follow instructions
•Have an advanced understanding of Excel (to pivot tables)
•Be fast and accurate with data entry
•Have an advanced understanding of Sage (Line 50)
•Have an excellent standard of written and spoken English
•Have a genuine desire to provide excellent service to internal and external customers
Role Responsibilities
•Processing payments and sales transactions
•Processing supplier invoices
•Data entry to Sage
•Data entry to various spreadsheets
•Maintenance of finance side of client management system
•Liaison with colleagues to advise of any payment issues arising
•Issuing proforma invoices
•Responding to internal & external customers’ queries by phone and/or e-mail as required.
•Checking daily print orders & forwarding to printers
•Controlling petty cash float
•Reporting staff attendance, holidays & absences to payroll department
•Management of domain name purchasing & renewals
•Credit control in conjunction with Accountant
•Providing cover for Accountant as required.

The International Tax Accountant will be supporting the Senior Tax Manager with all of the Group operations outside of the UK and Americas.
