Hours: 36 per week
We have vacancies within our mental health care and support service. The posts are for 36 hours per week and will include shift work and weekends (plus working time payments). We are looking for experienced support workers to provide visiting support to adults and young people who have an experience of mental health difficulties and have spent periods of time within the Royal Edinburgh Hospital. Post holders will be required to develop support plans and identify support outcomes. This post involves considerable periods of lone working within service users’ homes and substantial travel across the city.
SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent is essential for this position. Further training and full induction is provided.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.

Salary: £16,775 - £18,860 (pro-rata for part time and sessional) plus living wage allowance if applicable.
Hours: 15.75 per week, 39 weeks per year.
We require a School Support Assistant - fixed term until 25 June 2021 (possibility of extension).
The post will be within our Pupil Support Base. The main duties of the post will be clerical and supporting the needs of Pupil Support Leaders.

Our aim is to provide opportunities for families with young children to make positive choices and to encourage parents and children to develop their skills, confidence and self-esteem. We provide a range of services for families with children under 8, including early learning & childcare, a family support service and a varied programme of groups and classes.
We are seeking an approachable, self-motivated, engaging professional with the skills required to support families and individuals with a wide range of needs.
The successful candidate will offer family support to vulnerable and isolated families with children. The post holder will work within the local community using a strengths-based approach. A qualification at degree level in Early Years, Community Education, Social Work or equivalent is essential.
