The Global Specialty Fulfillment team at Amazon is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a strong delivery record and senior leadership experience to own and manage strategic, cross-functional operations and business initiatives.
As a Supply Chain manager, you will use analytical, technical, program management, and operations management skills to develop plans for partner teams to execute. As a member of this team, you will be a thought leader and will work cross functionally to design the Amazon fulfillment network of the future. You will help craft new fulfillment concepts to integrate into our network to improve the overall customer experience and reduce the total cost of fulfillment. The role includes writing documents that present a clear view on Supply Chain Strategy, developing tech requirements to enhance our planning efforts and ensuring our fulfillment network is robust to address future challenges and growth.
Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities:
  • Working with Retail, Finance and Operations partners towards defining supply chain and operating models for new businesses.
  • Forming cross-functional project teams, planning, organizing, managing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • Building complex models to analyze future topology and communicating the vision to partner teams.
  • Writing strategy documents that clearly communicate supply chain vision to senior leadership.

Supply Chain Manager basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other technical field from an accredited university.
  • Previous experience conducting quantitative analysis.
  • Proven experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Proven experience analyzing cost/benefit of proposed projects.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including use of lookups and pivot tables.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset capable of attacking interesting business problems head on.

Job Purpose

The job holder is an extended part of the centralised customer service team based at a manufacturing site.   • Report monthly KPIs to customers and Healthcare Customer Service Manager
  • To complete all paperwork in line with company procedure and best practice

  • Cross train key accounts to other members of customer service team for periods of absence or high work volume

New Product Introduction

  • Work closely with Healthcare NPI Manager to successfully introduce new work into the local manufacturing facility

  • Process all new master specifications and production specification for all new work and new customers
  • Order new dies/ cutter for new products

Other Duties

  • Attend local production meetings and link back to Healthcare Customer Service Manager
  • Deputise for the Healthcare Customer Service Manager when urgent requests arise from the Supply Chain Manager and escalate when required
  • Communicate information and developments from local site to Healthcare Customer Service Manager on a daily basis

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen in K-C to join EMEA’s Sales and Operational Planning team. We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst with a primary focus on driving continuous improvements in inventory management and transforming our supply chain planning processes.

You will play a critical supporting role in our efforts to improve cash flow, cost and processes through data analysis, identifying opportunities and executing/implementing these, whilst improving the service levels to our customers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the development of our S&OP and S&OE processes through data management, data analytics and visualisation.
  • Supporting the EMEA Supply planning teams in their efforts to optimise inventory and improve the inventory health in their area.
  • Using KC’s standard planning, inventory modelling and other analytical tools to identify new opportunities and areas to optimise inventory and improve processes.
  • Engage and collaborate with functions across the entire supply chain (procurement, logistics, manufacturing, sales/demand management) to drive process and capability improvements.
  • Support transformational programs in Logistics/S&OP that are rolled out across EMEA in the coming years.
  • Support the development of standards (tools and processes) to improve end-to-end planning, reduce lead time and complexity and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with K-C’s Global Supply Chain teams on sharing best practices, improving tools and supporting the roll out of new projects.
  • Become subject matter expert (SME) and educate/coach others across the organisation on the importance on inventory management, standardising processes and reducing waste.

The individual

  • You are educated to degree level in statistics, mathematics or engineering with focus on supply chain management and have an APICS certification.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of S&OP/S&OE processes and End-to-End Supply Planning.
  • You are passionate about continuous improvement and have demonstrated that you are able to deliver results in this area.
  • You have supported new system/tool implementation projects and/or have created new tools yourself that has improve business results.
  • You have experience in managing large amount of data from different data sources and are able to create connections between them and convert data in presentable insights.
  • You have extensive knowledge of and experience of working with following tools/systems: SAP (ECC/APO/BW), Microsoft Office programs and tools (in particular PowerPivot and VBA), SQL and DAX. Experience with front-end visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
  • You have excellent written, verbal, listening and communicating skills coupled with ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the organisation.

The Supply chain analyst will be accountable for overseeing the balance of supply and demand for an extensive and diverse portfolio of products. The scope of supply planning will span the full extent of the semiconductor supply chain form point of purchase to finished goods ship. Ownership includes involvement and management of all issues which impact your products. These include supplier excursions, quality alerts, quality holds, etc.
Responsibilities:
+ Schedule and review supply planning in MRP system, review commits back from our suppliers and own the supply of your portfolio from point of purchase to finished goods ship.
+ Partner with Sales Operations, Supply Operations, Global capacity planning, Sourcing, Finance, Business Operations, and Business units to understand demand profiles, product life cycles, and business model strategies.
+ Monitor levels of supply while holding moderate inventory positions, and minimizing Excess and Obsolete.
+ Communicate regularly between functional teams, ensuring that all groups are informed of gaps to supply.
+ Manage customer signals for sudden pull in, push out, upside demand.
+ Collaborate with supply chain teams, including Global capacity planning and Asia Operations to highlight help needed areas that pertain to execution of supply planning.
+ Build efficiency and automation into your process and disseminate to your peers.
+ Develop your network and learn to influence across the organization.
Minimum qualifications:
+ Industry or academic experience in operations/supply chain planning. Experience with MS office programs (particularly excel) required.
+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
+ Strong decision making and comfort in making sound data based recommendations.
+ Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment.
+ Adaptability to a challenging and changing environment
+ Ability to give and receive instruction and possess strong attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Rapid Response experience preferred
+ MRP-based planning experience a plus.
+ Semiconductor end to end process background with a technical understanding of front end wafer fabrication, sort, assembly, and test process preferred.
Educational requirements:
+ Required: Bachelors, Business Administration and/or Industrial & production Engineering, and/or Supply chain.
+ Preferred: Masters, Business Administration and/or industrial & production Engineering.

TCR2 Therapeutics Inc. is a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company developing the next generation of novel T cell therapies for patients suffering from cancer. Our proprietary TRuCâ„¢ (TCR Fusion Construct) T cells harness the natural T cell receptor complex to recognize and kill cancer cells using the full power of T cell signalling pathways independent of HLA. TRuC-T cells have demonstrated superior anti-tumor activity in vivo compared to CAR-T cells while releasing lower levels of cytokines in preclinical studies.  TCR2 was founded by MPM Capital and is headquartered in Cambridge, MA to leverage best-in-class technologies and nucleate top-tier academic laboratories from around the world.

 

TCR2 has embarked on establishing a cGMP manufacturing operation in the UK at Stevenage, Hertfordshire, to provide manufacturing capacity for Phase 1 and Phase 2 operations, and beyond, for the TRuCTM T cell platform. The Supply Chain Manager will report to the VP of Manufacturing and will be responsible for the logistics of patient material in the UK, manage our Third Party Logistics organisations as well as planning, purchasing, storage and movement of materials for clinical GMP manufacturing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the Stevenage team at an early stage, to deliver life saving therapies to cancer patients across a broad class of indications. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Supply Chain team and manage the supply chain requirements for manufacturing in a compliant and efficient manner to meet clinical schedules
  • Support the scheduling of clinical batches from and back to US clinical centres using approved clinical logistics software systems
  • Manage UK logistics for clinical material and finished products with approved shipping providers to meet GMP, HTA and import/export licensing requirements
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing team and CGT Catapult warehouse to schedule picking of inventory for manufacturing
  • Manage local KanBan systems for the manufacturing module to ensure supplies are maintained at an optimal level for production operations
  • Provide a centralized purchasing function for all GMP materials for production and QC and support any non-GMP purchasing as required
  • Manage 3PL relationships and provide oversight to ensure all materials are received, stored and shipped in a GMP compliant and timely manner
  • Implement improvement programs internally, at 3PLs and at CGT Catapult to reduce lead times and costs for materials management and handling
  • Oversee Sage inventory management systems at CGT Catapult and 3PL suppliers to support manufacturing and to maintain compliance to policies and procedures
  • Work with the TCR2 Finance team and report on UK inventory levels to meet financial planning and compliance requirements   
  • Manage supplier relationships to provide high levels of supply excellence in terms of cost, quality and on time delivery
  • Develop and report key performance indicators, KPIs, for supply chain operations, both internally and with external suppliers and service providers

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain, Logistics or related field, or a CIPS or CILT accreditation
  • A minimum of 8 years progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or biologics supply chain and logistics, with cold chain experience
  • Working knowledge and ability to apply GMPs in conformance with FDA, MHRA, EU and ICH standards for supply chain and logistics operations 
  • Experience and involvement in external regulatory inspections an advantage
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and build collaboration with 3PLs, service providers and suppliers
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction.

Warehouse Operatives Required!

We are looking to recruit a number of skilled warehouse operatives to work at an industry leading car assembly site. 

The client produces parts and cockpits for Jaguar, Land Rover and BMW.

The Role - Warehouse Operative:

As a warehouse operative you will perform general warehouse operative duties such as picking, packing, gluing and assembling. 

You will need to quality assess all goods to ensure they meet site and customer standards. You may be rotated and asked to work on different departments throughout your assignment, so a degree of flexibility is required

Shifts - Warehouse Operative:

You must be flexible to work shift patterns including day, and evenings. There is compulsory overtime Monday to Friday and on weekends.

6am - 2pm

2pm - 10pm

 

Pay - Warehouse Operative: 

£9.79 – 2 shifts (rotating)

£10.57 –  Nights (rotating)

£13.11 - Overtime 39+ Weekdays and Saturdays

£17.48 - Overtime from 10pm on Saturday through till 6am on Monday
