SUMMARY OF POSITION

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure, develop and deliver MS Dynamics NAV and Business Central software and components
  • Manage development and deployment of customizations and integrations
  • Debug system problems, perform data conversions, and craft resolutions
  • Installation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as needed
  • Test functionality developed by the development team against business requirements
  • Support and drive process change and communication in line with NAV best practice

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Development Manager the successful candidate will work collaboratively within a lean-agile scrum team comprising Architects, Software Developers and Test Engineers. As a Principal Software Engineer you will be responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of robust, scalable and secure cloud streaming services. You will work with business stakeholders to understand the scope and requirements of the services you build, and with QA and DevOps teams to ensure the quality and robustness of your solutions.
You will use your knowledge and communication skills to mentor and support other members of the XR development team and engage with colleagues in the wider AVEVA business to promote and support the adoption of the XR Team’s components and services.
Skills & Qualifications
You will need to have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience designing and implementing cloud services involving data streaming and preferably in Azure as well as AWS.
You must also be proactive, willing to take responsibility and help drive projects to a successful outcome. You will be an enthusiastic communicator who enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Our codebase is extensive and shared with multiple teams around the globe, so an understanding of the challenges and necessary processes associated with this kind of development environment is important to us. Prior experience of working in agile or highly structured development environments would be preferable, as would working in a global multi-site, multi-cultural organisation.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience of Microsoft web technologies ( C#,  NETCore MVC )
  • Relational database experience (SQL Server)
  • Proactively able to build relationships with stakeholders:- sales, brokers, middle office, external vendors.
  • Ability to produce clean, well-written, fully tested production ready software.

Desirable skills :-

  • Knowledge of the FIX protocol
  • Knowledge of FX trade processing
  • Basic knowledge of Foreign exchange products (vanilla/exotic options, fx cash) ( training will be given)

Qualifications: Computer Science related degree preferred At least 3 years  experience in a comparable development role.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics Developer to join our team in sunny Del Mar, CA. You will work with our Business Analysts and Developers to analyze, design, and develop the best solutions while utilizing and integrating with a variety of cutting edge technologies and tools. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure, develop and deliver MS Dynamics NAV and Business Central software and components
  • Manage development and deployment of customizations and integrations
  • Debug system problems, perform data conversions, and craft resolutions
  • Installation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as needed
  • Test functionality developed by the development team against business requirements
  • Support and drive process change and communication in line with NAV best practice
  • Coordinate and contribute to end-user training including development of system documentation and training materials

  • Prior NAV upgrade and data migration experiences is a plus
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV certification(s) in related discipline a plus
  • Ability to translate customer business requirements and specifications into software solutions
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting skills
  • Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously  
  • Experience in building and exposing Web Services using Json and SOAP
  • Experience with PrintVis is a plus
  • Experience with multiple Regions and Globalization is a plus
  • Expert DevOps Knowledge regarding Source Control, Build Automation, Test Automation and Deployment is a plus
