An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Social Worker to join East Dunbartonshire Health & Social Care Partnership’s Community Mental Health Team. The post is based within the Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre.

Our Community Mental Health Social Work Team is, integrated and consists of para professional staff, Social Workers/Mental Health Officers who are co-located with Health professionals within an integrated building providing the full range of adult mental health, social work and health services.
The Community Mental Health social work team provides a full range of social care services to adults with mental health issues providing a responsive, flexible and recovery focussed interventions and agreed planned outcomes.
Transitions based work and the promotion of personalised services to young adults who meet our eligibility criteria and their families are central to our approach alongside assessment and care management responsibilities across social work services.
You will need to demonstrate a clear knowledge of generic Adult Services Legislation, an understanding of the relationships between statutory duties and local authority responsibilities and how this impacts and affects service delivery.
