This successful manufacturing company are looking to hire a qualified electro/mechanical service engineer to work on HVAC equipment.
You will be responsible for visiting clients on site to service and repair booster sets, Pressurisation units, Circulation pumps, Expansion vessels & Inverter drives.
Most appointments will be midlands based, but you will be expected to travel to other parts of the UK when required.

We are a busy Press Tool and Manufacturing facility based in Coventry looking for an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Must be qualified with upto date certification. Our client based 5 miles south of Leicester is seeking an experienced Generator Service Engineer to join them on a full time permanent basis.
You will be based from Leicester but will be expected to travel to client sites. To be considered for this role you will have previous and recent generator service engineering experience.
As Generator Service Engineer, you will carry out diagnostics, servicing and repair in the workshop and on site with customers. You will build strong business relationships with your customer and will promote a professional company image at all times, meeting and exceeding customer expectation.
As well as generating servicing and repair, It is also essential that you have serviced & repaired other types of construction / plant machinery to be considered for this role. Production and maintenance of department KPIs to measure
PM completion rate to plan
Schedule adherence to weekly plan
PM backlog
Safety incident close out rate
Spend against budget
First line control of maintenance expenditure against operating budget.
Control of contractors on site and the control of the selection process for new contractors to site.
Induction of new contractors to site and registration for future reference.
Management of contracts to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance for the site at all times.
Cost reduction focus through:
Energy management projects / initiatives
Consolidation of contracted services
Use of best industry practices.
Operation and custody of the site Permit to work system on a day to day basis, supported by the Engineering and HSE Managers on site.
Ensure all items are tagged and recorded under, LOLER, PSSR2000, DSEAR, L8, CDM and all other relevant regulations applied to site.
Support both the HAZOP and FMEA processes used on site become the focal point for technical and site knowledge as required with respect to site services and plant items.
Conversant with all current and proposed regulations likely to be applied to the site and its processes.
Who we are looking for:
HND or above qualified engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience in a maintenance / facilities activity– Experience in chemical processing environment would be an advantage.
Be capable of working on all key systems (applicable to their trades) within the LCD operating environment. This includes for example: Fire deluge system; effluent plant; compressor systems; key equipment within the filling areas and manufacturing plants and any other equipment not mentioned or installed in the future.
