Security Officer
An exciting position has become available for a full time Security Officer to join a friendly team based in Toyota, Epsom. The successful candidate will earn £11 per hour and will work 60 hours on a 7 on/3 off shift pattern to include days, nights, and weekends.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high performing and innovative Security Team at a high profile corporate head office.
Role Requirements
•5 Years’ experience in the security industry (Desirable)
•SIA license – Security Guard/ DS
•SIA license – CCTV (Depending on site)
•Must drive and have a clean driving license.
•Must be flexible to work a demanding 7on/ 3 off rota, which includes days, nights, and weekends.
•Must have corporate security and customer service experience.
•Must be able to use security systems and technology.
•Level 3 in First Aid (Desirable)
•TRACKTIK (User Level)
•IT Systems (User Level)

•Punctual, reliable, and well presented.

Role Responsibilities
•Creating a secure environment, in which our customers, their employees and visitors can thrive.
•Respond in an effective manner to incidents, alarms, events, escalating to the Emergency Services, the Customer, and the Security Operations Centre (SOC).
•Always promote the continuity of TCSS by following the site Assignment Instructions and relevant Risk Assessments.
•Promote confidence in TCSS with every customer and every colleague through effective decision making, communication and professional security standards.
•To ensure that colleagues, customers, and the public have a positive experience when engaging with TCSS.
•To complete planned rota and agreed shifts to provide security cover to meet customer needs.
•To utilise the relevant site security systems to detect risks and potential security breaches.
•To utilise TRACKTIK to complete patrols and reporting of incidents.
•To promote a culture of safety, awareness of H&S risks and accident/ near miss reporting.
•To keep the property of customers, employees, and visitors always secure.
•To prevent unauthorised access to site, whether by a person, vehicle, or object.
•To respond to unplanned events or incidences promptly, following the process and procedures outlined in the site Assignment Instructions.
•To deliver excellent customer service always.
•To work in collaboration with the customer’s FM team and complete relevant tasks
•Actively engaging with training & development activity provided, ensuring you have the skills to complete your tasks.

Due to the continued growth on our Govia Thameslink Railway contract, we are now recruiting for a new member to join us as a Security Officer.
The main responsibility is to conduct regular patrols within station grounds to ensure safety of all commuters and staff at all times. You will be required to greet and assist everybody working within the station, engage with customers and enhance their experience, promoting a culture of safety and security by showing reassuring presence and offering help and guidance at all times.
Location of work: Gatwick Airport Station

Monday – Wednesday – 07:00 – 19:00
