As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for the development and performance of the sales team and all sales activities. You will directly manage the sales team, providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth, in line with company vision and values.

Your responsibilities will be (but not limited) to:-

  • lead, train and motivate all members of the Sales team
  • achieve and strive to exceed all targets and sales objectives through a well-developed and motivated sales team to achieve optimum profitability and customer satisfaction
  • visit regularly all our shops and outlets to review achievements with the team and discuss and implement goals
  • monitor all marketplace/competitor activities and adjust plans and objectives accordingly
  • create and maintain the appropriate staffing levels
  • Help Terzetto to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control
  • Lead by example delivering personal sales targets on top of team target
  • Set & measure team KPIs, helping implement agreed plans to improve performance
  • Provide reporting and updates to the management team
  • Coach and support each member of the team ensuring continuous development to enable each individual to perform at their best.
  • Continuously innovate the sales process to identify and deliver opportunities to improve the success of the sales team.

Your requirements:

  • 3 years previous experience as a Sales Manager is essential
  • Experience in a related industry would be desirable
  • Strong leadership, organisational and motivational skills
  • A proven record of high sales achievement
  • B2B or B2C sales experience
  • Proven track record as a sale leader and individual salesperson

Tasks and Responsibilities

As Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the DHL Express UK Ltd market leadership position across air and road express business.     Role Summary
    NEC would like to hire talented people to strengthen the EMEA Support organization. This position is an integral and important part of the division.
    NEC EMEA have a new position in Europe for a technology evangelist with strong experience within the Radio Access Network, 5G and OpenRAN industry, working alongside telco senior leaders/head of networks and program leads as strong technology influencers.
    This position will be based in NEC’s EMEA region (UK preferred) with regular travel throughout the region; work closely within a small and focussed team & report to the Head of PreSales. A right to work in the UK and Europe is essential as this role may require extended stays in both.
    This role requires strong customer facing skills along with ability to work with internal engineering/sales teams, to take a customer engagement from initial pre sales discussion all the way through commercial roll out.
    The successful candidate is required to have either a successful track record in technical pre-sales in the wireless telecommunications industry or in technical design/strategy development within a wireless telecommunications vendor.
    This is a primarily a technical role, with some acumen on business knowledge of RAN.  Only Technically strong candidates will be suitable for the role.  Primary focus will be on RAN aspects.  Candidates with detailed knowledge on RAN & basic working knowledge of virtualisation will be preferred.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Responsible for technical pre-sales engagement towards a customer from initial engagement, towards design completion and hand over to operations.
    • Preparation of technical sales materials including collateral, quotation, timeline, project plan and solution proposals.
    • Assist sales team in all phases of the selling process.
    • Manage & provide direct technical input to customer RFXs / tenders.
    • Work with Account managers to identify/qualify customer & prospect opportunities & define requirements
    • Work with Engineering teams (internal and external) to reflect customer requirements in feature set & road map
    • Understand OpenRAN pricing dynamics and support sales team, to build competitive commercial proposals.
    • Maintain contact and open communication with customers to assist with future needs.
    • Create content to support the technical strength of the NEC solutions
    • Active contributor to the continuous improvement of NEC’s OpenRAN strategy

    Job Requirements
    • Strong understanding of LTE/5G and wireless technologies, including 5G use cases and NB-IOT
    • Good knowledge of RAN Layer – 1 and 2 is desired.
    • Good understanding of the 3GPP and xRAN/oRAN standards bodies, along with good knowledge of oRAN specifications.
    • Strong knowledge of IP networking along with ability to interact with Customer IT teams and own design as part of design discussions.
    • Solid understanding of MNO Radio and IT networks including IT/OSS integration requirements for commercial rollout
    • Good multi tasking abilities, with multiple concurrent customer engagements.
    • Strong understanding of NFVi in carrier grade environments (both Virtualisation and Containerisation)
    • Strong influencing ability capable of shaping customer thinking at all levels, from C levels to engineering.
    • Solid verbal, written and presentation skills at all customer levels
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (A Master’s degree will be preferred).

    Your requirements:

    • 3 years previous experience as a Sales Manager is essential
    • Experience in a related industry would be desirable
    • Strong leadership, organisational and motivational skills
    • A proven record of high sales achievement
    • B2B or B2C sales experience
    • Proven track record as a sale leader and individual salesperson
    • Able to work under pressure
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Innovative spirit, suggesting new approaches for continuous improvement
