As an Onsite Recruiter within Workforce Staffing, you’ll support the hiring of permanent and/or temporary hourly paid associates either directly or in partnership with our staffing agencies. You’ll be based in our Hemel Hempstead fulfilment centre and will conduct a variety of daily recruitment activities which could include inputting into planning, facilitating hiring or induction events, reporting on metrics etc.
Onsite Recruiter Responsibilities:
  • Execute an effective hiring process and uphold a great candidate experience across all stages.
  • Support the Recruitment Manager with evaluating labour supply, highlighting any concerns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Amazon operations and other support functions as required.
  • Acts as a site level Subject Matter Expert for workforce staffing, responding quickly and accurately to questions from stakeholders and escalating as appropriate.
  • Track, record and monitor key metrics relating to site level staffing and Amazon’s contingent workforce.
  • Investigate discrepancies in data & metrics through root-cause analysis of unfavourable trends, providing solutions.
  • Participate in reviews of current process, develop suggestions for improvements and contribute to process improvement initiatives performing project tasks as directed.
  • Identify, discuss and bring forward issues or ideas to more senior team members, suggesting solutions.
  • Facilitate or support onsite recruitment events for Amazon hired associates.
  • Establish and maintain working level agency relationships required for the site.
  • Co-ordinate regular meetings between staffing agencies and Amazon to drive best practice across the site and hiring process.
  • Deputise for the Recruitment Manager when required.

Onsite Recruiter basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Hands on experience delivering high volume recruitment in a fast paced environment as part of an agency or in house team.
  • Competent user of MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills with different parties along with the ability to mediate between large groups of suppliers.
  • Ability to produce reports from large amounts of people centric data, including the sharing of analysis/trends identified.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet business need.

Onsite Recruiter preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of temporary workforce recruitment processes.
  • Experience working in warehousing, industrial, logistics, FMCG, retail or other similar sectors.
  • CIPD qualified.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR / Payroll practices would be advantageous.

The Role

This will include (but not limited to) development and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the wider 365 suite, development of complex SQL queries to support Power BI reporting, development of data transformation tools using VBA and PowerQuery.
You will also provide post-live internal/external support across operational business systems as well as perform data analysis using appropriate tools to identify trends, diagnose issues, and to highlight areas for continuous improvement of business systems and company processes.

Requirements
You will have at least one or two years' experience in VBA development coupled with the development of SQL Queries.
You will be very keen to learn and develop your skills and experience further by learning how to develop in Dynamics 365 and Power BI in the world of Agile development.

We are looking to recruit a Retail Apprentice for our shop in Bletchley. We offer a permanent full-time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.

What does the apprenticeship involve?

- Working in a busy shop and learning how to be a great retail assistant.

- Regular pre-arranged visits (every 4 to 6 weeks) from an assessor from our apprenticeship provider.

Pay, working hours and benefits:

- A bit of flexibility when it comes to your shifts.  When other members of your team are off enjoying their holidays, we may need you to work slightly different hours to cover for them.  Rota’s are planned three weeks in advance and your commitments outside of work will always be taken into consideration when planning your shifts.

- Ensure that all work set by our apprenticeship provider is completed on time and to the best of your ability.

  • As the first point of contact for all customers and clients, the security officer must be geographically aware of their local surroundings.
  • You will be able to protect customers and colleagues from physical and verbal abuse, also deterring violence and public order offences    
  • Respond to any on site incident or request for assistance and assume control until arrival of the Client, Emergency Services or Duty Manager
  • Reporting to the Security Operations Manager – they must record, report and escalate all incidents and arrests using the process/system/technology as required throughout their shift.
Qualifications
  • The security officer will need to be a team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Able to work on their own initiative.
  • Retail Security experience.
  • Flexible Approach to work to suit the business needs with an ability to work with different teams as required
  • Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
  • Capability in the use of technolgy
  • An ambassador for great customer service
  • It is important the Security Officer is calm under pressure.
  • Understand the Health and Safety at Work Act, relevant Criminal, Civil Law and Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
  • Frontline Door Supervision or Security Guarding License essential, CCTV Licence would be beneficial
  • A Full UK Driving licence would be beneficial
