As a Graduate, Project Management, you will assist the Project Manager in performing a variety of tasks as well as performing other clerical duties, such as updating presentations, updating central project register, ensuring proper electronic filing of important documents and updating word documents. The Graduate will also attend customer meetings and be asked to take minutes, which will give you the opportunity to develop customer-facing skills.

Reporting to the Project Portfolio Director for SITA at Borders, you will be a part of the Border Management business - the part of SITA tasked with protecting the passenger journey and securing national borders.

What you will do
•    Assist the Project Manager in maintaining and updating project execution plans and schedules;
•    Conducting periodic project plans updates as per input from the project team.
•    Monitoring project execution as per input from the team, updating project risks, issues, changes and financials and reporting deviations to the project manager.
•    In association with the Project Manager, collecting updates from the team, and preparing periodic reports to be presented to management.
•    Collecting all financial data about projects from different systems, and preparing, with the support of the Project Manager, a financial statement about the project.
•    Filling in purchase order forms and tracking approvals, if and when requested by the Project Manager;
•    Uploading receipts of purchase orders on the system as instructed by the Project Manager.

Who you are
•    University degree in Project Management or a related field;
•    Exposure to Project Management methodology;
•    Proficiency in MS Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
•    Interest in developing an understanding of Software Development and technology projects;
•    Good time management skills;
•    Ability to work well independently and comfortably with international teams;
•    Fluent in English language (other languages are an advantage);
•    Strong communication skills (both oral and written);
•    Must have less than 12 months’ post graduate experience, excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience;
•    Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom without the need for a work permit / sponsorship.

  • Leverage your negotiation abilities while interacting with agents, managers, production companies, and external lawyers etc.
  • Manage the process from start to execution; from structuring, negotiation, drafting contracts, through to coordinating, executing, and finalising agreements, reflecting the best possible terms for the Group, timely and efficiently.
  • Review existing contracts and agreements, identifying terms, rights, ownership and restrictions, ensuring all deals comply with the Group’s requirements.

  • Provide ongoing risk analysis.

Group Business & Legal Affairs Manager Essential Skills & Experience:

  • A commercially astute qualified lawyer with previous PQE in-house experience (part qualified with significant experience may be considered) gained in a media company, production company, broadcaster, indie record label, law company dealing with media related contracts or similar environment.
  • Experience in contract law, licensing, rights, distribution, and intellectual property rights.
  • A good understanding of the film or television landscape and music royalties (PRS and Mechanical rights) is desirable.
  • Thorough knowledge of the current commercial deal-making market, contractual key terms and conditions for production, co-production, acquisition deals, talent deals etc.
  • Have sophisticated and succinct drafting skills and handling and documenting complex arrangements.

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager who will take a leading delivery role across one of our major programmes of work for 2021, this will involve the successful hands-on project delivery of web builds and publishing as well as mentoring and management of junior members of the team. The scope of work is varied but a key focus is on website builds. We therefore we require the Senior Digital Project Manager to have project delivery experience across global digital platforms as well as integrated campaign production. The right candidate will have experience of global CMS-systems (incl. website localisation and roll-outs), as well as a solid understanding of JIRA, Waterfall & Agile project delivery methodologies.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • A key focus area for the Senior Digital Project Manager is to successfully define, scope, manage and deliver large global digital projects in accordance with agreed project requirements and parameters, working closely with other key departments and agency leads (Strategy, Account, Creative, Production, Development) as well as clients and 3rd party agency stakeholders 
  • The Senior Digital Project Manager is responsible in supporting the Business Director (BD) with the oversight of London team members of staff relating to their respective project (incl. Account Managers, Asset executives, Creative resources etc) 
  • Biweekly reviews, ongoing project support as well as internal reporting of project forecasts, project resourcing, risks and issues etc. to the Business Director as required
  • The Senior Digital Project Manager is responsible for keeping a programme project tracker (risks, issues, dependencies, etc.) up-to-date with relevant input from the wider team and for timely internal escalation to the BD (as required)
  • Working alongside the BD and Birmingham Project Manager the Senior Digital Project Manager is responsible for defining and reporting on all delivery aspects of the confirmed programme of work, including shorter- and longer-term resource forecasts against agreed project plans and budget allocations etc
  • Responsible for ensuring that monthly financial reconciliations are carried out correctly and in a timely manner across the programme of work (for internal reporting and escalation purposes)
  • Working alongside the BD, the Senior Digital Project Manager is responsible for identifying delivery process improvements across the programme of work and for ensuring project delivery efficiencies over time
  • In addition to managing projects internally and with Client partners, the Senior Digital Project Manager is also responsible for overseeing all relevant (3rd party agencies) partnerships and for managing Spark44’s vendor relationships 
  • Must be able to work resourcefully (both independently and in teams), knowing how to support the wider team as well as manage risks and when to escalate issues in a timely manner. 
  • Must be financially aware and be comfortable with budget management/numbers (incl. Excel / Google docs), always striving to find budget, resource and time efficiencies
  • The Senior DPM must also have the right attitude to the work, the agency and the wider team, ensuring that the best form of communication is always used and that a good example is set for the more junior members of staff 

Requirements:

  • Experienced Senior Digital Project Manager with global digital platform experience 
  • Solid experience in managing website builds is essential (AEM, AT & AAM experience required) 
  • Experience working with responsive design, UX, user testing and external development teams 
  • Formal project management methodology experience (Agile, Prince2, etc) 
  • Ability to lead conversations with creative teams as well account teams, 3rd party agency stakeholders and senior client stakeholders 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills 
  • Adept at working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines

You will have an excellent understanding of Construction Project Management. You will be involved from early project development stage through to scheme close. What you will do
