£45k - £55k Per Year

Due to success of the underlying business, our client is expanding their team. The business works on a range of complex electronics allowing communication in scenarios where this can be the difference between life and death. Thus the business has many teams across electronics, embedded software, RF, design and more.

We are looking for a product owner with some knowledge of wireless protocols (ideally). The hiring manager is happy to teach and train the successful candidate in this domain, but you must have a technical degree/background that would allow you to pick up complex concepts at pace.

You will spend half your time working as a Product Owner for a team, this may be greenfield or legacy product development depending on team assignment. The other half will be spent acting as a conduit between the commercial and the technical stakeholders (primarily internal). Looking at specific use cases for new and existing technology, helping senior management to make intelligent decisions.

Due to the interpersonal nature of the role, you will need to be someone who knows how to communicate clearly, strategically, and be just direct enough to get the required outcome without stepping on too many toes.

This role would suit a range of candidates, but most likely testers or design/embedded engineers who want to think longer-term about their business. Technical Product Managers and Owners would also be a good fit.
