We offer stolen vehicle recovery systems, fleet management, vehicle alarms, immobilisers and other products for installation across Yorkshire, Lancashire and Derbyshire.
The ideal candidate will have a tracking and security installation background, a good knowledge of auto electrics and CAN based vehicles.
You must have a proven track record of working on a variety of vehicles including Cars, Vans Motor Homes, HGV and Super Cars.
You must be able to work on your own initiative, have a passion for customer service, good communication and a desire to succeed.
This is not a normal role and would require early starts with arrival onsite often at 7:30/8am, complemented by early finishes.
As part of our induction into the role you will be shadowed to ensure your skills, quality of work and manners match that our customers have come to recognise from us.

My client who are leaders in the Defence & Space industry are looking for an experienced Test Team Manager at their site in West Yorkshire. Responsibilities:
-Managing a team of Test Technicians and Test Team Leads that will be working across different shift patterns
-Reporting up to Programme Lead, Site Director and Senior Production Manager with progress reports, issues, equipment needs etc
-Managing the RF, Analogue and Digital alignment, test, verification and final acceptance test of products to pre-determined specifications.
-Leading the Fault-finding, analysis and diagnosis of non-working electronic devices down to component level and the reporting of root cause and failure mode following Teledyne company procedures.
-Completion and collation of Production Inspection Records, Acceptance Test Reports, Non-conformance reports, rework records, Bills of Materials, log books and other production documentation.

Main Responsibilities

The Challenge

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Leading a team of circa 50 employees across two shifts to manufacture pharmaceuticals products in various dosage forms
  • Ensure effective production, financial and resource planning to ensure the on time delivery of all production activities, including key projects, required to meet quality and customer demand
  • Work actively with Technical Services, Engineering, QC, QA and Validation to monitor and optimise use of plant capacity to ensure product delivery to agreed customer deadlines
  • Ensure we have sufficiently trained staff for all equipment to ensure we can meet all planned production 
  • Lead a compliance culture within manufacturing, ensuring all team members adhere to SOP's and comply with their individual responsibilities for cGMP, to ensure there are no deficiencies and the production area is audit ready
  •  Champion quality and productivity improvements, encouraging all team members to come forward with ideas and supporting them to implement them, where this is possible.
  • Ensuring department KPIs are met and that established cGMP quality standards are adhered to at all times

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

You will work in a flexible environment reporting to a Group Lead or Project Manager and will have considerable exposure to our clients and other partners. You will need to bring a sound engineering knowledge, be able to learn ‘on the job’ and have first rate communications skills.

What You’ll Need To Bring:

  • A minimum of five years working in a hardware design and development environment.
  • Ability to understand complex engineering issues and clearly communicate them via phone, email and other methods
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.

Mandatory Skills

  • Demonstrable knowledge of electronic hardware architecture and design principles.
  • Knowledge of basic printed circuit design principles.
  • Ability to understand and learn CAD systems for schematic entry and PCB layout.

About This Role:

Our Solution Architects play a critical role in both designing and delivering exceptional software and hardware solutions for our customers. As a senior member of the Delivery or Technology team, both internal and external stakeholders will look to you for support, advice and leadership, as you help shape and innovative an industry-leading response to a wide range of customer requirements.

A lot of the work we do is in the Digital TV space, but we're also growing our portfolio significantly in other areas, such as Cloud, IoT and Connected Devices. A broad range of knowledge and experience across one or more of these areas will serve you well and set you up for success.

Working across multiple customers and projects at any given time, you'll become a key customer confidante, teasing out their requirements, generating ideas, and providing solutions that are appropriate to their needs and provide the correct level of detail for the audience. GB Integrated Systems Limited has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and committed individual to join our team as Systems Service Engineer. (Fire, Security, Communications, Audio Visual, Automation)

The successful candidate will be required to commission, service and repair the aforementioned systems and associated equipment in accordance with current codes of practice, manufacturer’s requirements, British and European Standards.

Travel and some working away is a prerequisite to this role.                         

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain a wide range of fire and security equipment.
  • To extend existing systems as part of small / remedial works packages.
  • Provide excellent service to customers, building solid working relationships.
  • Attending urgent service calls to meet our SLA’s.
  • Fault finding and problem solving when attending call outs / break downs.
  • Provide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and routine visits.
  • Complete all company paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements.
  • Be involved in a 24-hour emergency cover rota. Currently this equates to 1 week in every 4.
  • Advise customers on new products and services to improve efficiency.

Basic Salary: (£23,000 - £28,000 Negotiable)

Expected Salary: £32,000 (including overtime)

Description

Due to our ever-increasing work load Safe & Sound Vehicle Systems Ltd require an installation engineer, ideally located to serve the West Yorkshire area for our mobile installation service. Being based along the M1 / M62 corridor would be ideal however for the correct candidate this wouldn’t matter.

Safe & Sound Vehicle Systems Ltd is a small, family run business with a passion for vehicle security and high levels of customer service. We offer stolen vehicle recovery systems, fleet management, vehicle alarms, immobilisers and other products for installation across Yorkshire, Lancashire and Derbyshire.

The ideal candidate will have a tracking and security installation background, a good knowledge of auto electrics and CAN based vehicles.

You must have a proven track record of working on a variety of vehicles including Cars, Vans Motor Homes, HGV and Super Cars.

You must be able to work on your own initiative, have a passion for customer service, good communication and a desire to succeed.

This is not a normal role and would require early starts with arrival onsite often at 7:30/8am, complemented by early finishes.

As part of our induction into the role you will be shadowed to ensure your skills, quality of work and manners match that our customers have come to recognise from us.
