JOB DESCRIPTION: Technical Sales Engineer / Field Sales Engineer - Electronic Automation Components, Sensors to OEM's and Machine Builders
· After an initial one-month, full induction training programme (which will then be on-going) including sales and technical - both in the UK and European HQ, you will be given the Yorkshire and North East territory to develop.
· Although there will also be existing clients and significant business on the area, there will be a high new business content using a database of potential clients, following up on exhibition and internet generated leads, your own market research and your own lead generation.
· You will be dealing with clients at all levels from Design Engineer up to Director level at customers which are mainly OEMs with some end user contact.
· There is also a lot of scope to grow the area, with potential to double it in size selling to customers across automotive, food, pharmaceutical and packaging machinery, and equipment OEM markets.

To be considered for this potentially rewarding role in terms of remuneration and career progression you will have:
EITHER
Some field sales, or possibly internal / office-based engineering / technical sales or applications engineer experience and a relevant engineering qualification ideally degree level or a good mechanical and electronics knowledge. (Preferably you will have sold components into mechanical OEMs).
OR
A proven track record of success in technical or engineering field sales, much preferably selling electrical, electrical, or industrial automation components to OEMs, ideally with a good mechanical knowledge or understanding as these are electronic components but solving mechanical problems for the customer.
What is most important is your desire to succeed and exceed targets, and progress in a competitive sales environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with experience in Health & Safety and its management. Reporting to the Head of Compliance you will work as a member of the Trusts Fire, Security and Health and Safety Team enabling provision of a comprehensive service to the Trust.

Job responsibilities

1. Interpret and apply health and safety legislation in terms of necessarymanagement action and practice. Ensure, through communication andliaison with Divisional and Departmental Managers that the legislativerequirements are known and performance requirements are audited

2. To promote a positive Health and Safety culture and ensure all works areundertaken with the highest regard to the safety of patients, staff, visitorsand contractors.

3. Maintain comprehensive information in respect of all relevant law andguidance in respect of Health and Safety and Risk Management practice.

4. Provide a source of central expertise on health and safety and riskmanagement. Customise appropriate advice and support to Divisional andDepartmental needs.

Our Sheffield engineering team have a few front-line products (such as our Feedback Product) that require rigorous engineering to accomplish our goal! We want you to help us with our exciting projects and to integrate our large-scale applications, using cutting edge web technologies. 

Qualifications (what you have):

  • As a Senior Front-End Engineer you should have a deep and broad knowledge of Javascript and Javascript frameworks.
  • You should have a minimum of 5 years of front end web app engineering experience
  • Ideally you have experience of porting large Javascript applications between frameworks 
  • Experience of VueJS is a bonus
  • You should have the ability to help people in your team and beyond to improve their knowledge and understanding of frontend development.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are needed - we work with teammates in several global Pendo offices around the world.
  • You should have experience of being a key contributor to large frontend projects at scale
  • Ideally you would have full-stack experience, to give you more context about the projects you’re working on, but UI is your strength and passion

· After an initial one-month, full induction training programme (which will then be on-going) including sales and technical - both in the UK and European HQ, you will be given the Yorkshire and North East territory to develop.  
· Although there will also be existing clients and significant business on the area, there will be a high new business content using a database of potential clients, following up on exhibition and internet generated leads, your own market research and your own lead generation.
· You will be dealing with clients at all levels from Design Engineer up to Director level at customers which are mainly OEMs with some end user contact.
· There is also a lot of scope to grow the area, with potential to double it in size selling to customers across automotive, food, pharmaceutical and packaging machinery, and equipment OEM markets.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Technical Sales Engineer / Field Sales Engineer - Electronic Automation Components, Sensors to OEM's and Machine Builders
 
To be considered for this potentially rewarding role in terms of remuneration and career progression you will have:
 
EITHER
 
Some field sales, or possibly internal / office-based engineering / technical sales or applications engineer experience and a relevant engineering qualification ideally degree level or a good mechanical and electronics knowledge. (Preferably you will have sold components into mechanical OEMs).
 
OR
 
A proven track record of success in technical or engineering field sales, much preferably selling electrical, electrical, or industrial automation components to OEMs, ideally with a good mechanical knowledge or understanding as these are electronic components but solving mechanical problems for the customer.
 
What is most important is your desire to succeed and exceed targets, and progress in a competitive sales environment.
