CMS.TalentSolutions are currently assisting an established and growing business in its search for an experienced Software Engineer. The Group is about to embark on a new phase of growth through the launch of its new digital growth plan in order to increase its market share. Initially working remotely and then to an agile working method post Covid-19, you will join a newly created product unit whose work focuses on digital growths projects. My client has ambitious plans to modernise how they support its clients, which initially involves the re-development of both front and back-end DBS/Vetting systems, and operational and technical workflows.
About You
You will be an experienced Software Engineer comfortable working in agile / DevOps environments, and will bring much more than technical skills to the table. This role requires an individual who is hardworking, passionate and willing, that will work with stakeholders at all levels, across the Group to deliver work to support our digital growth plan. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment, thrive on working with others and seek to influence the operation, culture and environment of this newly-formed unit. Senior Software Engineer C# .NET
An exciting position has become available for full time Senior Software Engineer C# .NET to join a friendly team based in South Wales. The successful candidate will earn £45,000 to £55,000 pa.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the design and development of our web-based systems. You will be designing, developing and deploying code, services and websites to run on our servers. You will work in a small project a team alongside product design engineers.
You will have significant experience in developing web-based applications and server-side code. You’ll be highly proficient in C# with a good understanding of OO and how to design software properly. Ideally, you’ll have a background in C++ and some experience of developing software for PC applications.

Key Responsibilities
• To undertake shift on scope rotational basis work (5 days, Monday – Sunday) covering your local area and working mostly on your own
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics to determine the problem and provide a solution within customers’ homes
• Optimising customers in-home set up to get the best internet speeds and ensure they understand their products which might include digital TV services
• Good attention to detail in completing your workflows daily so we pass the correct information back to our clients and so we effectively manage our stock

• You will be friendly, customer focussed and desire to resolve connectivity issues
• You must be interest in broadband, telephony and digital TV technology and set up
• You will be working on a self-employed basis
• You’ll be a team player, working with the wider team and our clients on a daily basis
