TECHNICAL SKILL

  1. Ensure machine output and utilization.
  2. Ensure machinery runs at maximum output, bearing in mind quality, machinery limitations and health and safety.
  3. Adopt a “pitstop” mentality to reduce change over times, fully utilize and organise press assistants and co-operate with staggered break times to increase runt time against downtime.
  4. Proactively manage presses to achieve the best quality levels ensuring that all paperwork is completed and up to date and ensures traceability.
  5. Achievement of the production plan and estimate
  6. Ensure maximum material utilization and a reduction of wastage of all materials including inks.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  1. Knowledge of company systems including health and safety, ISO, BRC accreditation and all paperwork systems.
  2. Able to detail all press specifications and technical details which are required to produce jobs.

Job Purpose

Concorde Technology Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Field Maintenance Engineer to join our team based both remotely and at customer sites in South Wales and surrounding Areas. The successful candidate will be required to work in the field as part of a team and as a lone worker with an ability to demonstrate outstanding communication and customer facing skills. They will be required to work within strict customer driven SLAs and must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar IT maintenance position role. The package will be based on the experience of the individual but will include a company issued vehicle or car allowance option included within the salary.

 

Working Environment

Working at a  range of customer sites located primarily in the south wales but on occasion you may be expected to travel further afield.

The post holder will work an 7.5-hour day time pattern Monday through Friday with an hour lunch break, this role also requires you to provide cover on an out of hours on call rota.

 

Main Duties:

  • Responding to service calls on client sites.
  • Resolve complex technical faults maintaining regular communication with the company.
  • Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance as and when requested ensuring that full activity records are documented.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of company products, services and solutions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to SLA when dealing with customer tickets/calls.

 

Qualifications and Skills

A good understanding of the English language, both spoken and written. The successful candidate must be articulate and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Formal recognised Computer and ICT qualifications and experience of Alpha, Dell and HP servers an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant experience from a similar Engineering role. Vendor accreditations from HP, Lenovo and Dell would be advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills required.
  • Printer repair and an understanding of mechanical print process is essential.
  • Printer driver and connectivity- local & network experience is required.
  • PC hardware/software experience required. 
  • Server Hardware experience required.
  • Excellent customer service & client interfacing skills essential.
  • Knowledge of the following types of printers - Hewlett Packard, Sharp, Xerox and Kyocera, Canon, Printek, Oki, and Tally would be an advantage. Software basic skills would also be an advantage

The Country Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, execution and tracking of the local marketing programs, to acquire, nurture leads and engage customers.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities Countries:

DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Support the Country Marketing Communications Manager to ensure the right combination of digital and traditional marketing initiatives for lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Support development of local campaigns to support local initiatives, with clear monitoring of performance and ROI.
  • Maintain the quality of the customer data base and lead tracking process through SalesForce CRM.
  • Contribute to the management of and ensure the correct content of local websites, incl. regular news publication; implementation of SEO actions to increase traffic on Xylem websites and nurture leads as well as monitoring web analytics.
  • Support the creation of local version of the European Customer Newsletter (e.g. Waves of Innovation).
  • Conduct e-invitations for all events, set up and manage online registration systems. Coordinate webinars.
  • Manage and coordinate customised company profiles and assets for virtual events.
  • Maintain and develop sales enablement tools.
  • Support any local extranet dedicated to customers or partners (e.g. Waterdrop, extranet for distributors).
  • Contribute to local social media content calendar to increase the brand value and promote Xylem’s solutions.
  • Manage the local email signature banners and ensure their correct use.

ADVERTISING & PUBLIC RELATIONS

  • Coordinate the production of local content in alignment with the content strategy to promote thought leadership: e.g. local press releases, case stories, editorial articles, blogs and obtaining customer consent where applicable.
  • Contribute to the management of cost-effective local print and digital advertisements as part of overall campaigns with a clear ROI measurement.

PRINT MEDIA

  • Ensure the availability of necessary collaterals (brochures, leaflets, posters, and pull-up stands) to support the business and to be used in lead generation campaigns.
  • If required by the local business plan, contribute to production of new collaterals to meet the local market requirements, in coordination with relevant functions.
  • Ensure a consistent collateral inventory system, and an efficient process to print only necessary materials, and an optimisation of print costs.

EVENTS

  • Ensure efficient organisation ofevents: trade shows, conferences, Xylem customer events including production plant visits, seminars, etc. in collaboration with relevant functions.
  • Monitor the local industry event calendar to identify opportunities for thought leadership and brand presence; coordinate with the CT and GCs to identify appropriate speakers.
  • Support speakers in the creation of speaker presentations if needed for special events.
  • Manage the local exhibition material including product demo units and other event inventory. Ensure an efficient distribution to and from scheduled events in timely manner.

SALES PROMOTION & CHANNEL SUPPORT

  • Identify necessary POS materials for promotion of Xylem brands.
  • Contribute to the cost-effective purchase of giveaways for the increase of Xylem brand value.

PRODUCT LAUNCH

  • Ensure local coordination between technical, sales, industry-vertical and GCs teams, of product launches.
  • Contribute to the local launch plan preparation, by coordinating necessary assets and materials for product launches.

OTHERS

  • Ensure compliance with respect to Xylem brand guidelines, by the CTs and Xylem local partners (Distributors, etc.), for the consistency of Xylem image and brands.
  • Ensure the relationships with local vendors and order entries for marketing spend. Ensure that European standardised vendor agreements are honoured.
  • Measure ROI and Key Metrics according to set KPI definitions and identify corrective actions.

As part of this opportunity, you will be providing a service to a wide variety of end users The role will include:

  • Repairing and maintaining a variety of IT systems, including desktop computers, laptops and tablet hardware, printers, EPOS terminals and related hardware and handheld scanners to name a few
  • Configuration of Cisco networking equipment, EPOS Till systems, Handheld devices and Printers
  • Processing returns, recycling equipment
  • Doing repairs and new installations
  • Completing stock inventory and asset management
  • Using Halo to manage workload/tickets as well as responding to phone requests
  • Researching new technologies and carrying out new installations throughout the Warehouse, Head Office and remote sites

JOB PURPOSE:

To achieve the best possible cost, efficiency, and quality whilst operating printing presses in compliance with all company hygiene, safety and good manufacturing practices.

TECHNICAL SKILL

  1. Ensure machine output and utilization.
  2. Ensure machinery runs at maximum output, bearing in mind quality, machinery limitations and health and safety.
  3. Adopt a “pitstop” mentality to reduce change over times, fully utilize and organise press assistants and co-operate with staggered break times to increase runt time against downtime.
  4. Proactively manage presses to achieve the best quality levels ensuring that all paperwork is completed and up to date and ensures traceability.
  5. Achievement of the production plan and estimate
  6. Ensure maximum material utilization and a reduction of wastage of all materials including inks.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  1. Knowledge of company systems including health and safety, ISO, BRC accreditation and all paperwork systems.
  2. Able to detail all press specifications and technical details which are required to produce jobs.
  3. Knowledge of traceability requirements
  4. Understand material utilization.
  5. GCSE Math  and English or equivalent
  6. Previous printing experience as a Flexographic Printer or other printing experience could be considered.
