The Digital PR Strategist / PR Analyst Role:

Main responsibilities

  • Support the head of communications and communications in responding to a wide range of media enquiries promptly and professionally, liaising with colleagues to produce media statements, setting up interviews with and briefing appropriate Trust staff, and overseeing filming on site.
  • Support the communications and engagement office with timely, accurate and engaging communications through all social media platforms, the Trust website and intranet, along with other agreed internal and external communication channels.
  • Support senior colleagues in ensuring the communications teams readiness and ability to respond to major incidents, providing support in the event of internal or external incidents, as we can be the focus of complex and potentially controversial issues, which require sensitive and robust handling.
  • Contribute news items to all corporate channels, managing intranet pages for key corporate campaigns and working closely with others in the team to ensure they are briefed as necessary on activities and initiatives, and where appropriate, ensure repurposed copy and photography is arranged.
  • Contribute to the production of press releases and the promotion of new developments to relevant media.
