The Digital PR Manager Role:

The Digital PR Manager is responsible for all promotional activity across our portfolio of clients and will report directly into the Head of SEO. This role requires a unique blend of SEO link building and digital PR expertise.

This is a dynamic role, in a lively environment. The successful candidate will be creative, enjoy a diverse role with many tasks to juggle, be good at researching and resourceful, and happy to use their own initiative and to take responsibility for projects.

Key Objectives:

The main purpose of the role is to research and develop around 16-20 viable events (chiefly one day conferences, half day forums, and half day workshops) for delegates across public, private, and voluntary sectors.

In addition to researching and producing viable events, you will develop marketing and sponsorship plans, in conjunction with the relevant executives, and oversee the speaker’s budget. The role also involves actively seeking new and viable conference ideas, and partnership/ sponsorship opportunities.

It’s imperative that events are viable, of excellent quality, and produced to strict deadlines, to ensure the commerciality of events.

Main Responsibilities:

•Project management from inception to programme sign off, and delivery of key targets/ deadlines for each conference / event.

What You'll Do:
The ideal candidate can transform complex technical solutions into simple, memorable and compelling stories. They can also get to the heart of a customer success story, bringing the value of AppDynamics to life through engaging PR content. The candidate should have a good understanding of the power of thought leadership and have an opinion about the future of enterprise technology and digital transformation. They should also be comfortable and experienced in writing more technical, product and solution oriented content.
The role will also include: working closely with the regional PR agencies; developing content ideas; supporting and mentoring company spokespeople; identifying speaker platforms; developing submissions for industry and solution awards; reporting and evaluation; and supporting product and company announcements.
You will join an outstanding global communications team, working closely with the regional Communications Manager, engaging with key stakeholders across the EMEAR and APJ marketing teams and sales organisations and connecting with our customers to help tell their stories.
Responsibilities:
* Support the development and execution of targeted and impactful PR programs including customer stories, product launches, technical innovation and other thought leadership campaigns.
* Build an awareness machine that drives AppDynamics’s share of voice
* Write, edit and creatively repurpose public-facing content including press releases, customer stories, and blog posts.
* Work side-by-side with our PR agencies to earn consistent media coverage, increasing our relevance and driving sales.
* Help build the culture of our growing comms team, while learning and growing in a fast-paced environment.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
* 3+ years PR experience in a fast-paced, enterprise tech environment (agency or in-house), engaging a wide variety of stakeholders and business partners. A detailed understanding of the APM/full stack observability space and media landscape would be a distinct advantage.
* Knowledge of the enterprise technology space and the business and technology challenges facing relevant decision makers in today’s digital world.
* Shown experience in delivering PR programs that span executive thought leadership, technical innovation and customer success for enterprise technology companies.
* Experience of delivering PR in different global regions and an understanding how PR/comms varies between countries.
* A focus on high-impact outcomes and a consistent record of driving results.
* Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a passion for storytelling.

The Digital PR Manager Role:

The Digital PR Manager is responsible for all promotional activity across our portfolio of clients and will report directly into the Head of SEO. This role requires a unique blend of SEO link building and digital PR expertise.

The PR/Digital PR Manager will be responsible for building high quality, niche relevant links whether that is through digital PR campaigns, newsjacking and leveraging media contacts or the more traditional SEO outreach, link building, guest blogging, broken link building, resource/link page building and citation building.

This role requires you to have at least 3-4+ years previous Digital PR experience in either an agency or in-house role and would suit someone looking for their next career challenge in the SEO space.
