The main purpose of this role is to carry out repairs and maintenance work to First Choice Homes (FCHO) properties and any other properties for which FCHO is responsible for the repairs, including Public Buildings and any associated contracts.
You will be expected to complete all repair and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction in the first instance.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified competent Plumber with experience of tiling. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with Housing Associations and/or managing responsive repairs.
A full UK driving license is required for this role.

•Carry out all installation, maintenance and servicing tasks related to plumbing.

Rydon is now seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with sound experience of plumbing maintenance within a commercial setting to join our healthcare team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance.
Previous relevant experience in the maintenance of building services is essential, including a working knowledge of servicing and replacement of thermostatic mixer valves, water leak detection/repair, shower head cleaning, inspection of water heaters, sentinal water temperature monitoring and cold water systems maintenance.
You will work as part of a highly skilled maintenance team (consisting of plumbing, electrical and multi skilled maintenance operatives) .This team are responsible for ensuring that jobs completed meet the desired quality and customer service standards. You will be responsible for covering reactive and planned maintenance to ensure that these busy hospital environments are operational at all times.
Normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. There is also the opportunity to participate in an on-call rota system (which offers the opportunity to increase your earnings and be involved in additional urgent repairs).

This role will primarily be based in Finsbury Park at a secure mental health facility, where service users are based on a residential basis. Rydon provides a planned, preventative and responsive repairs service to ensure that the facilities are maintained to an excellent standard. This role will see the successful candidate undertake works including leak detection/repair, replacement pipeworks, water temperature checks, servicing and/or replacement of thermostatic mixer valves, water sampling and much more.
