We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team here at Dalehead Foods Spalding. Reporting to the Site Director, the successful candidate will facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the operation of the engineering function thus assisting the engineering team meet the demands of the business and production targets and to continually strive to reduce costs whilst ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.

Responsibilities will include, but are not restricted to, ensuring the productive capability of the site is optimised and improved wherever possible to meet and exceed factory targets, develop and review maintenance schedules to ensure the safe and efficient running of the site and equipment, including compliance with our own Codes of Practice, ensure compliance with audits and managing the budget for the department.

Candidates will need to have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, have strong team building, decision making, problem solving and people management skills and have a strong capability for problem analysis, forward thinking and planning.

• Establish and deliver a clear strategy for our Aftermarket growth through the use of agents to drive business from independent garages through to our partner motor factors ensuring the independent garage network provides a springboard in this segment.
• Develop our brand awareness through targeted growth and through a strategic review establish a portfolio of  Total Quartz Autocentres and Total Rubia Truckcentres.
• Develop sales, marketing actions, promotions, pricing and training programs to support these activities. 
• Working with the marketing teams create promotions, loyalty programs and communication campaigns to support the push into the UK aftermarket and raise brand awareness and loyalty.
• Develop tailored training programs for the agencies in order to communicate the Total brand messages and educate third parties on the reasons to believe.
• Create the strategic plan leading to the development of Total’s presence in the retail (physical & digital) environment.
• Manage, motivate, support and coach the personal development of the Agency team.
• Utilize the Annual Appraisal process to manage by objectives and  provide constructive feedback to aid personnel development.
• Study the market positioning, the evolution of demand, and the changing environment scenarios in the lubricant market to promote success in the UK aftermarket.

• Promote the mobility agenda through the installation of EV charging stations across our customer portfolio.
• Develop a solar and battery offer, creating a case study with a view to a national roll out.
• Drive business solutions development to develop our E commerce platforms establishing a coherent and persuasive offer to B2C customers.
• Develop our brand awareness through targeted growth in the retail sector (Parts & Accessories outlets, supermarkets etc). 
• Define the strategy in relation to our E-commerce offer growing on line sales, developing drive to store opportunities with potential partners such as Fixter and other digital disrupters in tandem with the E commerce team in Paris.
• Define and roll out the Lubricants E Retail strategy working closely with the TUK marketing team
• Establish a road map for growth using ANAC as a key differentiator and door opener.
• Harness digital tools to cut the cost and time to market for new digital solutions.
• Drive new product introductions such as Clearnox, Excellium and lubricants in a box.
• Enhance our environmental offer through virtuous circle waste oil collection systems leading to revenue generation.
• Catalyse the digital transformation through the promotion of customer portals such as MyTLSA and digital offers such as Lubpilot, Push logistics with Sigfox and other digital solutions.
• Participate in projects that lead to new product or packaging launches.
• Study the market positioning, the evolution of demand, and the change of scenarios in the lubricant market to develop new and innovative business solutions
• Drive Innovation as a champion in the lubricants business.

We are looking for a senior technical leader to build, manage and lead development and QA teams which are based in Bangalore, India. This position will report to Group CTO, QS Group. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in building enterprise products, managing multiple teams and product lines with proven delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, research and direction of the overall technology and architecture across the products.

• Ensure that the projects are delivered on time and with quality. Create and manage the Agile development process for the teams

• Build and manage a top class engineering team. Bangalore team is in early stage of growth. This role is expected to quickly build a world class team.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to both the team members and the project peers/SMEs/Users

• Engineering/product development oversight, in addition to management and team oversight

• Ensure products meet design specifications, and adhere to standard coding and development practices

• Be at the heart of converting new concepts into product features by working closely with the development team

Requirements:

Qualification: Computer Science or Engineering degree from a premier institute. MBA from a premier institute will be a plus

Work Experience: 18+ Years of experience in product development

Skill Set:  Building and managing B2C oriented web and Saas based products. Solid understanding of scalability, modularity and significant experience in developing complex scalable solutions. Should have proven experience in managing distributed teams and have demonstrable delivery and project management experience.

• Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-scale web solutions
• Past experience in web technology stacks. Experience in Analytics is an added advantage
• Experience from working in an agile development methodology
• Demonstrated ability of team building and delivery management
• Demonstrated experience in working with multiple stake holders and be overall responsible for delivery that meets business objectives
• Demonstrated experience in working with executive/Senior management
