Skills and experience required
The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Engineering field and be conversant with monitoring standard of engineering work on PCV. Knowledge of safe operation of workshop equipment is essential and previous supervisory experience would be desirable. To apply for this role, you must be in possession of, or capable of obtaining a full PCV licence.

Should have proven experience in managing distributed teams and have demonstrable delivery and project management experience.

As part of our ongoing growth an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced quality assurance professional to lead our experienced team of GLP Auditors. Our talented and highly regarded team work on multiple study reviews and ongoing compliance within a wide variety of GLP programs.
We would like to hear from you if you have extensive experience in GLP Quality Assurance in agrochemcials and some exposure to running or supervising a small team. You should be qualified to BSc level in ideally in a scientific discipline but all candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring a harmonized quality management system at Battelle UK Ltd across all its UK facilities, and that all groups maintain, utilize and continuously improve quality management systems that are fit-for-purpose. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring that all UK facilities are compliant with any and all international, national, regional and local laws and regulations relating to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
The Quality Assurance Manager should have a solid understanding of the regulatory and legal frameworks, international requirements, legislation, and processes and procedures related to pre-clinical safety studies conducted to GLP. The incumbent should also be able to combine the scientific and technical aspects of projects and think critically.
