We are looking to recruit motivated, enthusiastic and clinically capable Band 5 Trained Nurses to join our nursing team for our 17 bedded Ward at Stratton Community Hospital. The Trained Nurse role requires the post holder to be committed to the ongoing development of the ward and multi disciplinary team working. We aim to deliver the highest standard of patient and rehabilitative care to our predominantly elderly patients.

The ideal applicant will possess a good level of organisational, communication and clinical skills relevant to the post and be able to act as a positive role model.

You will be undertaking a range of Early, Late and Night duties on a rotational basis in order to support 24 hour nursing care, 7 days per week. Although based at Stratton Community Hospital, a flexible working approach is required to support other hospitals in the locality as service needs require.

We are actively looking to recruit Registered Nurses at Solent Grange Nursing Home, part of The Future Care Group

Main duties of this role:

  • The post holder will be expected to maintain a quiet and calm atmosphere by encouragement and example whilst caring for the residents.
  • Helping unqualified staff with in-service training and to keep abreast of current post-registration training.
