Responsibilities: The Digital Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are presented online with quality images and compelling descriptions. The Specialist will also assist in the development and posting of comprehensive social media content to grow Robert Basil Buick GMC Cadillac’s social following and drive engagement. 

Duties:

Digital Inventory

  • Using a digital camera, take the required number of pictures for each vehicle and upload
  • Print required window stickers and Buyer's Guides and place on vehicles
  • Coordinate with Managers to ensure that compelling descriptions are uploaded for each vehicle
  • Periodically review the inventory to determine vehicles with out of date images or descriptions and correct any discrepancies
  • Create in-house collateral to support promotions
  • Create and post compelling social media content
  • All other duties as assigned

 Lot Duties (support and/or cover for Inventory Manager)

  • Move cars to storage lot
  • Help maintain used car lot
  • Price/sticker used vehicles
  • Check in cars when needed

Working Conditions: The Digital Inventory Specialist must be able to locate assigned inventory and keys, move vehicle to a photo friendly position, take pictures, and return vehicle to its spot. This requires working outdoors in hot and cold environments and occasionally rain or snow. In addition to working outdoors, the Digital Inventory Specialist will be provided office space to review each stores images and vehicle descriptions to ensure that all vehicles are presented the best way possible, and to create and post social media content.
