About the Role

Role Duties
- Managing Facebook, Google and other PPC ads
- Writing copy and setting up email campaigns to our database

Role Purpose 

This role will be part of the global digital marketing team responsible for creating and executing world-class B2B digital marketing plans. About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

  • Applying extensive (7 years) digital marketing experience and knowledge of owned, earned and paid media to create, manage and optimise marketing campaigns that create brand awareness, engagement and deliver high quality leads.

  • Use data to report, derive insights and improve digital marketing performance for campaigns

Qualifications

 About You and How You Can Excel in this Role

To be successful in this role you’ll be a digital marketing professional with at least 5 years’ experience, preferably with experience across a range of digital channels and with experience of working with a range of MarTech. You’ll be able to develop engaging and effective digital marketing campaigns to attract and engage new potential customers. For this position, it’s also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and emerging digital marketing trends. It will be beneficial if you have some knowledge of the energy & commodity markets.

You will have:

  •  A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing, Digital Marketing or relevant field
  • Proven experience as a Digital marketing manager or similar
  • Experience of working within a B2B environment
  • Experience of digital marketing in a global business

The role of Digital Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conscientious and detail-orientated marketer to join the Commercial Team. Job Description

We are looking for a Research Director to lead the research output and analysis of the European gas market, within our EMEARC Gas Market fundamentals team. The team is located in Edinburgh, London and Vienna and delivers research and consulting based on our assessment of Gas Market fundamentals.

The EMEARC Gas Markets team delivers world class Research, Data, Insight and Analysis including detailed regional and global market fundamentals analysis, macro industry trends, project and market events and corporate insights.

The Gas & LNG research practice at Wood Mackenzie leverages unique, proprietary information and modelling to serve clients, and together we work with a range of clients including national and major oil companies, operators, investment banks and institutional investors. About the role


You will lead a team of analysts, based in Edinburgh and London, producing world-class commercial data, analytics and insight. Specifically, you will be responsible for shaping our European gas narrative through detailed analysis using Wood Mackenzie’s proprietary models, with a level of ownership of the short-term and long-term views that can be clearly communicated to clients. Your focus will be to lead and develop a team and deliver high quality commercial insight. You will foster an open, innovative and dynamic team environment – guiding, directing and challenging the team’s analysis, and supporting the team’s career development through planning and stretch opportunities.


You will be able to prioritise what matters to clients and your team. Given your engagement with your network of senior-level clients and contacts, you will understand their business and priorities and translate that into valuable analysis and data. Internally, you will ensure team members improve workflow efficiency and the timeliness and quality of deliverables.


You will combine your understanding of our clients’ businesses with a sophisticated view on market trends to identify commercial opportunities for Wood Mackenzie.  You will work with client management and consulting to generate new research, sales and consulting business.

Qualifications

About you and how you can excel in this role

You have a strong and established understanding of gas market fundamentals with experience of using and developing gas market models to deliver short- and/or long-term forecasts. You have deep industry knowledge and leadership skills to help develop and lead a team of talented analysts.

You are an experienced manager who has coached analysts in gas market fundamentals and led a high performing team within the energy industry. You are passionate about the Gas and LNG business and the rapidly changing energy market and have a track record in leadership and excellence.  

Your commercial and industry knowledge coupled with your people skills will enable you to define our ambition for our European gas market offering which help solve our client’s questions embedded with their workflows.

You can easily identify and size commercial opportunities, as well design and deliver a complex work programme. You possess sound commercial acumen and have led through change and business transformation.

- Proven experience as Digital Marketing Manager or similar role
- Experience of running digital marketing campaigns
- Demonstrable campaign success - hitting goals and objectives
- Strong experience web analytic tools
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Experience with social media content and marketing, Google Adwords and email campaigns
- Skills and experience in creative content writing
- Analytical mind set and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- At least 2 years of experience running successful direct marketing customer acquisition campaigns on Facebook, Google Ads and Email.
