As a Mobile Heavy Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for;
- The service and maintenance of Heavy Plant Equipment
- Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and thorough inspections of equipment
- Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
- Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and United Plant

As a Mobile Heavy Mechanical Engineer you will demonstrate;
- Relevant technical qualification NVQ level 3 in Plant maintenance or equivalent
- Previous experience working on Heavy Plant and machinery
- Experience on Liebherr, CAT, Komatsu, Volvo
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
- The ability to work independently and under pressure
- The ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Understanding customer needs

The Role:

Mechanical Project Engineer's will be needed to work for leading contractors in the water and wastewater industry. Initially involved in the design and procurement of equipment, leading to overseeing the Mechanical installation of this project. Previous water experience will be essential for these roles.
You will be responsible:
- Design verification.
- Procurement and purchasing of MEICA system equipment.
- Factory Testing.
- Involved in the editions of design using procured equipment.
- For the coordination and management of the sites operation team to deliver the project on time and in budget.
- You will manage the site schedule of work and site teams.
- Manage sub contract packages.
- Value engineering and scoping work.
- Maintain relationships between client, subcontractors and partners.
To be considered for this role you should hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent and have a proven track record in a site based or project management role in the water industry. You will have experience of installing, repairing or maintaining background capital equipment and you will be fully aware of CDM regulations, IOSH and hold certificates.

My Client is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team due to continued growth and development.
As a Maintenance Technician, you may be required to perform tasks involved in the installation, maintenance, repairing of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical and electrical systems on all production machines, equipment and building. You may also be involved in the upkeep of the building and grounds.
Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
•Performs scheduled PMs and visually inspect and test assigned machines and equipment for proper functionality against plan.
•Daily, receives assigned work order to complete on equipment.
•Upon completion of work, enters appropriate information onto CMMS system for filing and tracking against KPI’s
•Helps controls unplanned downtime by informing/training production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
•Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment as required.
•Maintains equipment according to instructions such as replacing belts on motors, changing filters, bearings, etc.
•Maintains parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
•Perform reactive repairs on production machines and/or equipment when a malfunction has been detected in a timely manner to minimize any associated downtime.
•Annalise cause of any unplanned downtime and recommend any improvements/process changes to reduce recurrence.
•Perform machine installations/moves and building maintenance tasks as needed.
•Assist production workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
•Ensures that a high level of safety is always adhered to on and off the production floor.
Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
•HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
•City & Guilds Electrical and Electronic Engineering (8030) Level 2 certificate or higher in electrical installation.
•18th/17th edition (Desirable)

Working for this established, expanding and specialist manufacturing business as the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll work in a small team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager to deliver planned and re-active maintenance on a rotating shift pattern (early and late shift, Monday to Friday).
