What you'll be doing as an Graduate Online Buying Assistant:

+ Acquire all assets for the web page, including images, video and content
+ Set up items for the website including copy writing and placement of the item
+ Enter and updates computer records and reports for buying staff
+ Review department inventory reports and tracks item replenishment and purchase orders
+ Send and track vendor contracts, and advertisement agreements
+ Communicate with regional offices, vendors and members to relate and gather required information

Tasks and Responsibilities:

+ Set up item and vendor records by keying information in to the computer. Update item and vendor records for changes such as price, terms, descriptions, addresses. Key in figures for weekly department recap
+ Daily review of the department inventory reports. These include the open order report, shipment report, catalogue management system, item on site set up report, out of stock report, low stock, zero or negative item sales, late shipment and supplier turn report
+ Responsible for acquiring all assets for web page; images, content, video, and setting up web page for accuracy, copywriting, sending web page to supplier for approval and turning into operations for propagation.
+ Assist Buyer and Assistant Buyer in merchandising projects as needed. In addition assists in other areas of the department and other departments of the company as required.
+ Daily web site reviews and maintenance to correct errors, feature image changes, freight changes, item page changes to keep the site fresh and accurate.
+ Responsible for reviewing & maintaining inventory
+ Setting up and utilising forecast sheets on key items to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained and that new orders for stock are placed on time
+ Checking pricing vs the market on new items selected by the buyer and on items already listed to ensure we offer the best value to our members

About You:

+ 2nd level education / University graduate preferred
+ Strong computer skills
+ Strong mathematics
+ Excellent copywriting and strong English skills are essential

Job responsibilities

Collect and monitor data to record activity levels.

Undertake weekly, monthly reporting on a range of information data sets relating to CIPTS theatres and endoscopy data & undertake ad-hoc tailored reports as and when required.

Regularly monitor and maintain the validity of the theatres and endoscopy databases, ensuring that inaccuracies and duplications are addressed and follow-up corrective action is undertaken.

4. Develop and provide training and support for all theatre and endoscopy database administrationstaff in the use of the database and associated forms.

5. Manage the CIPTS theatre and endoscopy databases, including password maintenance,housekeeping and ensure common practice between sites.

6. Liaise with IT on network security and maintenance, password control and development issues.

7. Liaise with the relevant information departments to co-ordinate the development of the theatre and endoscopy database systems. Streamline effective data collection processes thereby reducing the need for manual data collection.

8. Input data onto the Microsoft Access based CIPTS theatre and endoscopy databases and aid staff in their role in the entry of data on a daily basis from Main Theatres, Treatment Centre, Day Surgery, as well as other locations at the Lister Hospital.

Development of Services

1. To ensure the provision of specialist advice for service users and other professionals across the trust.

2. To communicate effectively with service users in the use of the theatre and endoscopy databases.

3. To co-ordinate the development of the theatres and endoscopy databases and be a resource for local multi-disciplinary teams.

Managerial

1. Act as the lead for data quality and liaise with other departments and disciplines within the trust to keep CIPTS up-to-date with OPCS coding requirements and current patient management practices.

2. Initiate and coordinate future developments of CIPTS. Liaise with program developers for support and development.

3. Provide analysis to improve performance and to meet targets as set by internal and external agencies including the Department of Health and the Audit Commission.

4. To provide project management support for system projects and implementations as and when required.

5. To write specialist knowledge database queries and subsequently to run and provide both specific detailed monthly and ad-hoc reports, including anaesthetic and surgical logbook reports to identify doctors clinical activity.

6. Be responsible as line manager for all relevant HR procedures for theatre database administration and clerical staff i.e. appraisals, sickness and absence, 1st stage disciplinary and grievance matters.

7. Manage recruitment and selection, personal and career development and workload of direct reports to ensure the delivery of service.

8. Ensure all theatre database admin and clerical leave, including annual/study/sick leave and flexible working is coordinated in the interests of the service and that cover is provided within the budget.

Research and Audit

1. Co-ordinate and participate in audits on CIPTS for management, clinical audit, clinical governance and research on key aspects of utilisation, clinical skill mix, time management and prosthesis usage.

A Day in the Life


The person in this role will drive retention of new patients during their onboarding on insulin pump and/or continuous glucose monitoring through dynamic and proactive outbound calls. Those call will be related to: Product education, Patient assessments, additional factors such as diet, exercise and lifestyle, and goal setting, barrier identification and coaching. This role is expected to collaborate with members of other departments and representatives to fully address customer needs.


As a StartRight Therapy Ambassador your main responsibilities will involve:

  • To partner with The Field to onboard patients, monitor and intervene with "at risk" patients when necessary
  • Build positive relationships with patients; assisting with goal setting, realizing goals, identifying, and overcoming concerns during therapy onboarding
  • Use dynamic communication skills to identify patient unmet needs and "pain points" and utilize objection handling techniques to communicate with the patient
  • Monitor Helpline call activity, product ordering information, online learning activity, and CareLink data to identify patients that may need additional support and direct to appropriate group for intervention
  • Measure success through monitoring patient retention, patient learning metrics, quality scores and customer satisfaction ratings
  • Testing and conducting "proof of concept" sessions with patients to enhance StartRight solutions
  • Cooperate and coordinate with Medtronic team members encouraging positive work environment, adapting to changing situations, environments, and various shifts to meet customer needs.

Your excellent communication, organisational, problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure will be as vital as your technical skills in this role.  You will also take calls from our clients, assisting them with a wide variety of IT queries, troubleshoot problems and where possible, resolve the problem by talking users through solutions over the phone or using remote access tools to ensure fast resolution. If you are unable to resolve the problem, you will escalate with details of the steps taken so far and work with the support team to improve your understanding.

 You must have a keen interest in computing as there will be the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of systems development and day-to-day IT support.

Desired Qualifications:

Level 3 Software apprenticeship, OR

A Level in a STEM* subject and successful completion of our Aptitude Test, OR

BTEC Diploma in IT and successful completion of our Aptitude Test, OR

2 years’ experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our Aptitude Test

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programmes offer on-going development tracks.

Graduate Online Buying Assistant – Inventory Control
Watford
£21,372 – £28,912 depending on experience

What you'll be doing as an Graduate Online Buying Assistant:

+ Acquire all assets for the web page, including images, video and content
+ Set up items for the website including copy writing and placement of the item
+ Enter and updates computer records and reports for buying staff
+ Review department inventory reports and tracks item replenishment and purchase orders
+ Send and track vendor contracts, and advertisement agreements
+ Communicate with regional offices, vendors and members to relate and gather required information

Tasks and Responsibilities:

+ Set up item and vendor records by keying information in to the computer. Update item and vendor records for changes such as price, terms, descriptions, addresses. Key in figures for weekly department recap
+ Daily review of the department inventory reports. These include the open order report, shipment report, catalogue management system, item on site set up report, out of stock report, low stock, zero or negative item sales, late shipment and supplier turn report
+ Responsible for acquiring all assets for web page; images, content, video, and setting up web page for accuracy, copywriting, sending web page to supplier for approval and turning into operations for propagation.
+ Assist Buyer and Assistant Buyer in merchandising projects as needed. In addition assists in other areas of the department and other departments of the company as required.
+ Daily web site reviews and maintenance to correct errors, feature image changes, freight changes, item page changes to keep the site fresh and accurate.
+ Responsible for reviewing & maintaining inventory
+ Setting up and utilising forecast sheets on key items to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained and that new orders for stock are placed on time
+ Checking pricing vs the market on new items selected by the buyer and on items already listed to ensure we offer the best value to our members

About You:

+ 2nd level education / University graduate preferred
+ Strong computer skills
+ Strong mathematics
+ Excellent copywriting and strong English skills are essential
+ good verbal communication
