Our client is looking for a Roadworker. To ensure Safe Passage of the General Public in line with the Highways Act 1980.

 

The successful candidate will be undertaking a programme of work identified by Highway Supervisor, under the direction of a Skilled or Specialist Roadworker.

 

The main duties will be to:

  • Digging trenches for laying cables and pipes for services such as gas, electricity, water, telephones and television.
  • Using hand tools, such as picks and shovels, using machinery such as drills, cement mixers and rollers
  • Driving large vehicles with machinery attached

Primary Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance and driving pricing toward standard or complex parameters based on RFP and protocol.
