Overall Job Purpose

An exciting role that will see the successful candidate accountable for Products within our Servicing Experience. Executes the short to medium term product strategy and accountable for delivering the 0-3 month product roadmap and backlog. Works collaboratively with Business Owners and technology development teams to curate product backlogs, craft user stories and define acceptance criteria that deliver the business benefit and value of each product and its features. A key member of internal and external technology project teams working to ensure what is developed meets the required customer and business expectations.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for prioritisation, management and delivery of the 0-3 month product roadmap
  • Work collaboratively with the Product Manager, business process owners and development and project teams to create user stories that are aligned to the overall delivery of organisational goals and desired customer outcomes
  • Carry out analysis of user needs, business requirements, impact, scope, risks, benefits and technical dependencies for user stories
  • Ensure all user stories are captured, created and maintained in the product backlog, written in the agile user story format, with relevant support documentation and clearly defined acceptance criteria for each story
  • Work collaboratively with the product teams to provide understanding of the user stories to ensure designs are aligned
  • Ensure the product backlog is accurately prioritised through regular discussion and review with the Product Manager and Business Owners, and other key business stakeholders
  • Provide technical input into the business cases that are produced by the Product Manager and Business Owners
  • Understand, communicate and drive optimisation of all leading metrics and KPIs across online and offline sales journeys

Skills Required

Essential

  • Technology specialist with a proven track record working in digital and CRM, e-commerce or digital marketing
  • High level of understanding of agile development practices
  • Strong understanding of analytics and technology optimisation processes
  • Strong ability to refineand prioritise product backlog in fast-moving environment
  • Proficient at writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Excellent delivery and execution of sprint ceremonies and releases
  • Experience of using work management tools such as Jira
  • Able to lead and facilitate meetings and ceremonies (e.g. lead workshops to elicit requirements) within business and technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical stakeholders at all levels
  • Able to produce high quality supporting artefacts to assist the team in development of product features
  • Outstanding team working and collaboration skills.

Desirable

  • Scrum Product Owner certification
  • Proficient at drawing storyboards and creating wireframes
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practice (e.g. test driven development, continuous integration etc.)
  • Able to perform detailed customer, market and business analysis.

About the role:

As our Marketing Manager you will work with members of staff from across college (up to Executive/equivalent) and be able to influence them to deliver a required outcome. The job involves some evening and potentially weekend work.

Your responsibilities as our Marketing Manager will include:

- Responsible for multi-channel marketing campaigns and events that build awareness, increase customer engagement and maximise lead generation. Ensure all campaign messaging supports the overarching brand message and campaign themes
- Responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive online and offline marketing, PR, social media and communications strategy. Ensure the college’s PR agency is utilised to the best advantage to optimise college visibility with statements and comments shown in a positive light
- Overall responsibility for ensuring all marketing projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage the marketing budget, prepare fully costed plans for all programmes of activity
- Oversee the college’s social channels and website, drive technical changes / updates when required
- Analyse marketing and social media campaign performance and seek continuous improvement to ensure maximum value
- Make recommendations for improvements in relation to the overall performance of the college against targets and budgets, ensuring opportunities are maximised
- Manage the college’s marketing team developing and mentoring them to develop campaigns, data, objectives and bespoke briefs to meet business needs. Discuss and agree where internal marketing resources can support college-wide activities, how they can best deliver against requirements to maximise return on investment
- Monitor, track and conduct market research to analyse competitor marketing activity such as ads, PR, web and social media campaigns, brand perception and understand customer needs
- Overall account management responsibility for the college’s PR, print and design agencies

As our Marketing Manager, you’llideally have:

- 3 years’ experience of working in a marketing or communications role
- Experience of writing creative copy
- Experience of managing projects
- Experience of managing a multi-channel marketing team
- Degree level education or similar
- GCSE/’O’ level qualifications in English and Maths
- Willingness to travel to all sites

You will be responsible for:

•Making appointments over the telephone: 60% of the role requires this

As our Digital Product Owner, you will be accountable for products/journeys within Vitality’s digital estate. You will define the short to medium product strategy and be accountable for delivering the 0-6 month product roadmap. Working collaboratively with business owners and technology development teams, you will help create the product backlog, write user stories and define acceptance criteria that deliver the business benefit and value of the product and its features.

As a key member of the business and technology delivery teams, you will also work with R&D, Marketing, CX, performance and business analysts, UX designers, project managers and the broader product management function, to ensure what is developed meets the required customer and business expectations.

Key responsibilities of our Digital Product Owner include:

- Delivering and optimising digital products, ensuring business benefits and KPI’s are realised

- Collaborating with business stakeholders to define and communicate product development roadmaps and priorities

- Breaking down and prioritising the delivery of product features through the product backlog to ensure work can be delivered iteratively

- Working closely with internal and external development teams to deliver agreed product features

- Defining and improving secondary/related journeys (such as automated emails) to support funnel performance

As our Digital Product Owner, you will be accountable for products/journeys within Vitality’s digital estate. You will define the short to medium product strategy and be accountable for delivering the 0-6 month product roadmap. Working collaboratively with business owners and technology development teams, you will help create the product backlog, write user stories and define acceptance criteria that deliver the business benefit and value of the product and its features.

As a key member of the business and technology delivery teams, you will also work with R&D, Marketing, CX, performance and business analysts, UX designers, project managers and the broader product management function, to ensure what is developed meets the required customer and business expectations.

Key responsibilities of our Digital Product Owner include:

- Delivering and optimising digital products, ensuring business benefits and KPI’s are realised

- Collaborating with business stakeholders to define and communicate product development roadmaps and priorities

- Breaking down and prioritising the delivery of product features through the product backlog to ensure work can be delivered iteratively

- Working closely with internal and external development teams to deliver agreed product features

- Defining and improving secondary/related journeys (such as automated emails) to support funnel performance

- Leading planning meetings, reviewing previous outputs and current deliverables to ensure shared understanding of desired outcomes

- Hosting demos of delivered capability and value to stakeholders to ensure collaboration

- Working collaboratively with IT, UX, analytics, performance, content and sales teams to drive improvements agreed against agreed objectives

- Contributing to an on-going optimisation programme with other PO’s and experts to maximise shared learning

Skills and experience required to become our Digital Product Owner:

- Educated to degree level

- A digital technology specialist with demonstrable experience working in a digital role

- Performance-driven – highly numerate, analytical and results-focused

- Strong knowledge of digital industry and mobile/web product development

- Advocacy of the suer and proven champion of the customer experience

- Experience of building consumer quality digital products, enabling business capability and objectives through technology

- An exceptional communicator and collaborator

- The ability to lead and facilitate meetings with business and technical teams

- The ability to move between strategic discussions with senior stakeholders

- Evidence of a positive approach to self-improvement and an appetite to stay in tune with market trends

- Trained to a high-level using digital analytics and performance measuring tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

Overall Job Purpose

An exciting role that will see the successful candidate accountable for Products within our Servicing Experience. Executes the short to medium term product strategy and accountable for delivering the 0-3 month product roadmap and backlog. Works collaboratively with Business Owners and technology development teams to curate product backlogs, craft user stories and define acceptance criteria that deliver the business benefit and value of each product and its features. A key member of internal and external technology project teams working to ensure what is developed meets the required customer and business expectations.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for prioritisation, management and delivery of the 0-3 month product roadmap
  • Work collaboratively with the Product Manager, business process owners and development and project teams to create user stories that are aligned to the overall delivery of organisational goals and desired customer outcomes
  • Carry out analysis of user needs, business requirements, impact, scope, risks, benefits and technical dependencies for user stories
  • Ensure all user stories are captured, created and maintained in the product backlog, written in the agile user story format, with relevant support documentation and clearly defined acceptance criteria for each story
  • Work collaboratively with the product teams to provide understanding of the user stories to ensure designs are aligned
  • Ensure the product backlog is accurately prioritised through regular discussion and review with the Product Manager and Business Owners, and other key business stakeholders
  • Provide technical input into the business cases that are produced by the Product Manager and Business Owners
  • Understand, communicate and drive optimisation of all leading metrics and KPIs across online and offline sales journeys

Skills Required

Essential

  • Technology specialist with a proven track record working in digital and CRM, e-commerce or digital marketing
  • High level of understanding of agile development practices
  • Strong understanding of analytics and technology optimisation processes
  • Strong ability to refineand prioritise product backlog in fast-moving environment
  • Proficient at writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Excellent delivery and execution of sprint ceremonies and releases
  • Experience of using work management tools such as Jira
  • Able to lead and facilitate meetings and ceremonies (e.g. lead workshops to elicit requirements) within business and technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical stakeholders at all levels
  • Able to produce high quality supporting artefacts to assist the team in development of product features
  • Outstanding team working and collaboration skills.

Desirable

  • Scrum Product Owner certification
  • Proficient at drawing storyboards and creating wireframes
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practice (e.g. test driven development, continuous integration etc.)
  • Able to perform detailed customer, market and business analysis.
