This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company with an excellent reputation in the Satcoms Industry and be an integral part to the company`s future success!Our client are looking for a number of Engineers for this role and are seeking candidates to be based in or around 30-40 miles of either one of the following locations: Plymouth or Portsmouth or Falmouth or Hull or Liverpool or Newcastle or Clydebank (Scotland)Experience on board ships installing, maintaining and repairing electrical and electronic systems is the key requirement for this role. Applications from candidates who have an armed forces background or ETO background or marine engineer background are very welcome!The successful candidate will have the following essential skills and experience:<ul><li>Installation, repair and maintenance of</li></ul>-GMDSS Equipment-Navigational Equipment-VSAT Satellite Broadband-Retrofit Projects Experience-Whole Bridge Installs or Large Systems Integrations<ul><li>Experience of Radio Surveys or VDR-APT`s</li><li>GMDSS Radio Operator / Maintainer License</li><li>Electronic or Electrical Engineering Qualification</li><li>3+ years of experience</li><li>Able to pass Marine/Offshore worker medical examination</li><li>Must have a full UK driving licence and car</li><li>Must be flexible to travel within the UK and Abroad (travel ranges from a few days to a few weeks at any one time)</li></ul>The following company benefits are provided with this role:<ul><li>Overseas Allowance - £50 per day</li><li>Offshore Allowance - £100 per day</li><li>Pool Vehicle or Car Allowance of £350 per month</li><li>Overtime is paid at time and a half (any hours outside normal working hours of Monday-Friday 9-5:30pm)</li><li>25 days holidays + bank holidays</li><li>Sponsored Personal Pension Plan of 7.5%</li><li>Private Health Care</li><li>Life Assurance x4 salary</li></ul>Apply NowHow do you like the sound of this role?
