Daily, they will oversee and manage Department of Defense (DOD) and USPS rules and regulations, ensuring that all inbound and outbound mail is properly marked and meets the prescribed U.S. and UK custom regulations. Responsibilities include collecting, posting, transporting, and delivering mail for SUSLOL employees while also securely storing and protecting mail and equipment. The incumbent demonstrates a positive attitude to working with colleagues and customers whereby customer needs are listened to, understood, and responded to quickly and efficiently. The incumbent is responsible for providing training to other members of the Installation & Logistics (I&L) team in order to perform postal clerk duties during times of increased mail activity such as the holidays, or whenever Postal Clerk and Logistician requires assistance. EDUCATION: U.S. High School Diploma or an equivalent academic qualification is required EXPERIENCE: Experience in general logistics services, the movement of freight or internal mail, and driving is required. LANGUAGE: Must have a good working knowledge of English; speaking, reading & writing is required (this may be tested). JOB KNOWLEDGE: Basic customer service representative experience is required.
