We’re seeking an experienced Logistics and Partnerships Specialist to join the team. Supporting the Head of Fulfilment Operations, you’ll support our global logistics process, develop effective & sustainable partnerships with our 3PL providers and marketplace vendors and ensure an exemplary gift delivery experience for our customers.

You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across our organisation and supply chain to ensure everything runs efficiently and smoothly.  We want you to be an expert in our logistics and marketplace, drive our growth through sourcing of new partners, whilst identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring our gift delivery experience exceeds our standards for quality and timeliness
  • Owning and organising the global logistics chain, including inventory storage, managing data from point of order to delivery, tracking and monitoring delivery.
  • Owning Reachdesk’s relationships with our 3PL and delivery partners, maintain a deep understanding of their operations to review how effective and efficient these current processes are, advocate for service improvement initiatives and respond to major incidents.
  • Evaluating partner performance through data compilation and regular supplier review and feedback sessions
  • Maintaining the analytics needed to monitor and surface issues with packing and delivery
  • Working closely with the Customer Success and Product & Engineering teams to diagnose and address problems / areas for improvement with partner and vendor integrations
  • Managing the internal response to delivery incidents, working closely with the Customer Support team.
  • Sourcing and launching marketplace vendors across different territories and aligning with strategy across the organization.
  • Tracking and managing warehouse inventory and managing the marketplace product database
  • Manage the contracts and relationships with partners (initial contract, periodic contract review/evolution, renewal/renegotiation, end of life)
  • Supporting the Finance function with order and invoice reconciliation
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Monitoring and advising on any issues which present risks or opportunities to the organisation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of operations scaling and management experience ideally in a high-growth / start-up environment. 
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including MS Excel skills, 3PLs and WMS experience.
  • In depth knowledge of logistics to include warehousing, 3PL and marketplace drop-ship models.
  • You have demonstrable experience in building partnership relationships within a B2B multi-vendor marketplace environment
  • Have superb communication (both written and verbal), attention to detail and organisational skills

Even better if:

  • You have Experience with companies building and scaling enterprise software (e.g. business intelligence, marketing automation, b2b)
  • You have experience in ‘high-touch’ logistics environments (e.g. retail or eCommerce)
  • You understand basic API principles and development standards 
  • You have developed and managed relationships with international logistics suppliers.
  • You’re looking to reduce our carbon footprint as we develop our logistics and marketplace network

  • Active participant in Amazon safety policies.
  • Detailed coordination of network capacity inputs that are all interdependent.

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
  • Experience in an operational environment (FC, IXD, AMZL preferred).
  • Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing and managing large data sets.
  • Previous experience in project management and implementation with proven ability to design workable solutions and drive projects to successful implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both native and English language.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

The Supply Chain (Logistics) Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the drug products manufacture ordering, shipment planning and delivery and drug product reconciliation of clinical supplies for assigned studies.


You will be supporting Clinical Trials globally and interacting with Clinical Study Leads and hospitals collecting blood samples and shipping them to Clinical Manufacturing Organisations (CMO). We’re seeking candidates who have ideally worked in a similar pharmaceutical/CRO clinical supply environment, you should have good attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities


  • Schedule and plan with apheresis and clinical sites, logistics providers and CMOs as required, following existing procedures to support project teams across the platform.
  • Communicate updates to Clinical Operation teams and Supply Chain Manager on progression of patient material through the vein to vein supply chain.
  • Support supply chain manager in developing and implementing appropriate SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot challenges when executing the Patient/cellular Supply chain
  • Provide coverage for out of hours contact for apheresis/clinical sites, logistics providers and CMOs
  • Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve any deviation or exception to meet customer requirements. Lead investigations if required.
  • Understand manufacturing capabilities, ensure appropriate actions are taken to relieve bottle necks.
  • Establish good working relationship with clinical team and sites
  • Have a sound understanding of logistic activities at sites and at LSPs


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years experience in Supply Chain planning, operation or scheduling
  • Bachelor's Degree in Scientific, Engineering, Nursing or aligned discipline.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the complete clinical supplies’ life cycle (i.e., manufacturing, packaging, labelling, import and export, storage and handling, distribution and delivery, return and reconciliation, final destruction).
  • Strong organisational skills are essential
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail is a must
  • Focus on Customer Service aligned with highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving/decision making skills.
  • Very strong communication skills both written and verbal. Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Strong IT skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) would be ideal
  • Knowledge of deviation processes and customer complains processes desired but not essential

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring our gift delivery experience exceeds our standards for quality and timeliness
  • Owning and organising the global logistics chain, including inventory storage, managing data from point of order to delivery, tracking and monitoring delivery.
  • Owning Reachdesk’s relationships with our 3PL and delivery partners, maintain a deep understanding of their operations to review how effective and efficient these current processes are, advocate for service improvement initiatives and respond to major incidents.
  • Evaluating partner performance through data compilation and regular supplier review and feedback sessions
  • Maintaining the analytics needed to monitor and surface issues with packing and delivery
  • Working closely with the Customer Success and Product & Engineering teams to diagnose and address problems / areas for improvement with partner and vendor integrations
  • Managing the internal response to delivery incidents, working closely with the Customer Support team.
  • Sourcing and launching marketplace vendors across different territories and aligning with strategy across the organization.
  • Tracking and managing warehouse inventory and managing the marketplace product database
  • Manage the contracts and relationships with partners (initial contract, periodic contract review/evolution, renewal/renegotiation, end of life)
  • Supporting the Finance function with order and invoice reconciliation
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Monitoring and advising on any issues which present risks or opportunities to the organisation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of operations scaling and management experience ideally in a high-growth / start-up environment. 
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including MS Excel skills, 3PLs and WMS experience.
  • In depth knowledge of logistics to include warehousing, 3PL and marketplace drop-ship models.
  • You have demonstrable experience in building partnership relationships within a B2B multi-vendor marketplace environment
  • Have superb communication (both written and verbal), attention to detail and organisational skills

Even better if:

  • You have Experience with companies building and scaling enterprise software (e.g. business intelligence, marketing automation, b2b)
  • You have experience in ‘high-touch’ logistics environments (e.g. retail or eCommerce)
  • You understand basic API principles and development standards 
  • You have developed and managed relationships with international logistics suppliers.
  • You’re looking to reduce our carbon footprint as we develop our logistics and marketplace network
