UHB is looking for enthusiastic and motivated pharmacy technicians to join our friendly and dynamic team to provide high quality aseptic services to patients across the West Midlands.
You will be part of an expanding team of highly professional and dedicated staff whose aim is to provide an excellent, patient focus service.
The prime function of the unit is the preparation of cytotoxic, monoclonal antibodies and clinical trials in a safe and efficient manner according to Good Manufacturing Practice and National Standards.
Our aim is to provide our valued staff with excellent training including Quality Assurance to become skilled, highly competent and confident in their job roles. Pharmacy@QEHB Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary company of University Hospitals Birmingham, which was established in 2011. We currently provide a pharmacy service for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) and Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham.
We provide a service to the out-patients at both hospitals and in-patients, due to be discharged, at QEHB and operate in a manner akin to a community pharmacy. We are due to open a Discharge Pharmacy in Heartlands Hospital Birmingham in spring 2021 and are looking to build a team for this pharmacy.
We are currently recruiting for dispensing assistants to join the team to work mainly at the Heartlands site. It is essential that applicants have achieved at least NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services, have relevant community or hospital pharmacy experience in a busy dispensary and will deliver unrivalled customer service.
This is a unique opportunity to support the delivery of care at the hospital in our automated pharmacies.

Supporting in the region of 25000 + service users, the UHB IT Operations Team provides 24/7 support for all internal and external IT Incidents, requests and enquiries.
We are currently seeking to fill exciting vacancies for two IT Support Technicians within our busy, high performance team. One based at Heartlands covering all sites on rotation and the other based at QEHB.
The primary focus of the role will be providing high quality, responsive, customer focussed, 1st and 2nd line IT Service and Support on a 24/7 shift basis to Trust users and stakeholders.

Unique opportunity for an IT Technician in a new-build Secondary School.
The IT technician will provide 1st and 2nd line support for IT and telecommunications across the multi-academy trust.
This is a central position based at the new Christ Church C of E Secondary Academy; however, travel to any of the schools in the trust will be required.
Reporting to the Head of IT, the IT technician will be based at the new-build Christ Church C of E Secondary Academy which is due to open in September 2021. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a growing central IT team and be part of the installation process for new IT equipment into a new secondary school. The IT technician will also be involved in
wider projects at other schools across the trust. The position is full time, 52 weeks per year with 28 days holiday and access to the local government pension scheme.
Birmingham Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust (BDMAT) was established in 2017 by Birmingham Diocesan Board of Education, which has a strong track record of providing excellent educational provision and achieving rapid school improvement across all phases.
