Our client is one of the most experienced compact equipment hire companies in Britain. They are currenly seeking a Mobile Service Engineer for their Thatcham depot.
Your role would be to maintain and repair their extensive and varied construction plant hire fleet to a high standard, as well as service and repair customers’ machines and prepare new machines ready for sale.
You will need the following skills and abilities for the role:
•Experience in servicing and repairing various contractors’ plant equipment
•Experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
•Have your own tools
•Work effectively within a team
You would work as part of a workshop team in a very busy and changeable environment, whilst communicating well with their Parts, Hire and Sales departments. The right candidate must be adaptable with good problem-solving skills. They are agents for top brand equipment in an ever-changing market and so, to deliver a very high standard to their customers, they will provide the successful candidate with excellent training opportunities.
This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, with overtime available.
