IT Technician Jobs Education Requirements

Some formal education is essential to GCSE level, while ‘A’ levels or a degree are helpful, but not absolutely essential. A broad understanding of operating systems and basic programming skills is vital; many employers value technical certifications such as MCSA or MCSE. Candidates are most likely to succeed if they are organised, confident in dealing with customers and able to work well in busy environments.
