Quantitative Analyst:

We are working with a leading global sell-side firm that is looking to hire a Quantitative Analyst to join their well-respected Quant Strategy team, which is a Cross-Asset team that works closely with the broader research team.

 

The selected candidate will play a key role in working as part of the team through coming up with trade ideas & original projects/market insights while working closely with the firm’s buy-side clients.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience
  • MSc in Physics/Engineering/Mathematics, as well as backgrounds in economics (or similar) will be considered
  • Good understanding of markets and specialization in at least one asset class (rates specialization would be a major plus), as well as a curiosity to learn about all asset classes
  • Advanced Python user (required), as well as good knowledge of Matlab (preferable)
  • Strong EQ and confident, proactive personality, and understanding of how to excel on the sell-side. It is important that this person is driven by the ability to build relationships with others in the firm (research + sales/trading) and with clients. This is equally as important as having that hard skills (programming languages & markets knowledge)

 

Key Success Factors:

  • Building strong relationships with clients (HFs, Asset Managers, Pension Funds) and supporting the integration of the team’s products into what clients are doing
  • Following up with clients are road-shows/meetings and providing a high-touch service that will lead the clients to wanting to do business with the bank
  • Building a strong personal brand/profile internally within the firm
  • Coming up with good individual trade ideas and ensuring that these are shared within the research team, as well as within the sales/trading teams
  • Working on at least 2-3 original projects per year (eg. a commodities pricing model) and getting feedback on these projects, launching the model and helping drive the marketing + client outreach

You will be a key member of the team dealing with a wide range of tasks supporting your colleagues and clients.

 

Specifically, your role will involve:

  • Preparing client files for the advisers’ meetings
  • Managing the database of clients and spreadsheets of workflow
  • Typing letters for clients and providers

About you

 

To be considered as a Financial Administrator, you will need:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English Grade B or above

The Junior Paraplanner will receive a salary of £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and aptitude. As a Junior Paraplanner you will:

We are looking for a Junior Paraplanner with the following skills and experience:
  • Experience of liaising with providers and knowledge of financial products.

Quantitative Analyst:

We are working with a leading global sell-side firm that is looking to hire a Quantitative Analyst to join their well-respected Quant Strategy team, which is a Cross-Asset team that works closely with the broader research team.

 

The selected candidate will play a key role in working as part of the team through coming up with trade ideas & original projects/market insights while working closely with the firm’s buy-side clients.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience
  • MSc in Physics/Engineering/Mathematics, as well as backgrounds in economics (or similar) will be considered
  • Good understanding of markets and specialization in at least one asset class (rates specialization would be a major plus), as well as a curiosity to learn about all asset classes
  • Advanced Python user (required), as well as good knowledge of Matlab (preferable)
  • Strong EQ and confident, proactive personality, and understanding of how to excel on the sell-side. It is important that this person is driven by the ability to build relationships with others in the firm (research + sales/trading) and with clients. This is equally as important as having that hard skills (programming languages & markets knowledge)

 

Key Success Factors:

  • Building strong relationships with clients (HFs, Asset Managers, Pension Funds) and supporting the integration of the team’s products into what clients are doing
  • Following up with clients are road-shows/meetings and providing a high-touch service that will lead the clients to wanting to do business with the bank
  • Building a strong personal brand/profile internally within the firm
  • Coming up with good individual trade ideas and ensuring that these are shared within the research team, as well as within the sales/trading teams
  • Working on at least 2-3 original projects per year (eg. a commodities pricing model) and getting feedback on these projects, launching the model and helping drive the marketing + client outreach
