You will work alongside a diverse and experienced group where your personal development is at the forefront of our culture.There will be opportunities to work on high profile engagements, providing experience across a range of sectors and developing a number of different skill sets. Our typical disputes engagements include acting as party appointed expert, single joint expert or advisor in a host of litigation, English and international arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution procedures. We are instructed on a vast array of disputes, which can include post-transaction disputes, breach of warranty disputes, breach of contract disputes, regulatory investigations, accounting technical disputes, professional negligence claims and investment arbitration disputes, to name just a few.You will have the opportunity to work alongside all of our practitioners as we operate as a truly national practice across all areas of forensic and valuation services by embracing a hybrid working model.As a member of this busy and growing team you will be instrumental in ensuring that client expectations are met through the provision of a quality product within an agreed budget and timescale. In addition, you will be actively involved in the growth and development of the forensic and valuations practice in London, including by participating in business development activities and contributing to the development of junior team members.As an Assistant Manager your typical daily duties will include:<ul><li>Working independently on assigned tasks and coaching junior team members</li><li>Preparing targeted financial analysis of data under the supervision of project managers</li><li>Undertaking in-depth document review</li><li>Assisting managers and partners with preparing quality written reports</li><li>Contributing to the efficient operation of each project by proactively providing support to managers, directors and partners</li><li>Contributing to non-chargeable work in the team, including the preparation of client proposals and business development opportunities</li><li>Attending in-house training as required</li><li>Having an awareness of the various services provided by Mazars</li></ul><h2>What are we looking for?</h2>Previous forensic and valuations experience is beneficial but not required.  We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ICAS) who is ambitious and team-orientated, with a passion for delivering outstanding work product with a high attention to detail.  The following skills and experience are particularly important:<ul><li>Strong ability to analyse data/information thoroughly and apply a methodical approach</li><li>Inquisitive mindset and sound judgement</li><li>Creative thinking</li><li>High level of attention to detail</li><li>Time management skills, including ability to organise and prioritise workload</li><li>Takes ownership of assigned tasks and adopts a pro-active approach</li><li>Ability to build relationships</li><li>Credible and effective communication skills (written and verbal)</li><li>Affinity with our values; in particular, respect for individuals, diversity and integrity</li><li>Actively seeks to enhance own expertise and knowledge</li><li>Demonstrates drive and commitment to self-development</li><li>Professional approach to work and clients</li><li>IT proficiency</li></ul><h2>About Forvis Mazars</h2>Forvis Mazars is a leading global professional services network.
