As our Facilities and Helpline Administrator, you’ll provide administration support to the Facilities Division and support users of the Helpdesk system that provides a fault logging service across South Thames Colleges Group.You’ll liaise with Facilities Managers, IT Managers, Senior Technicians, Technical Support Officers and Site Services/Maintenance Officers regarding job requests to provide an effective Helpdesk that delivers a high level of customer service to users. You’ll also assist in supporting the Finance Department with Purchase Order Processing for STCG and raise purchase order requisitions for the Facilities Department and prepare invoices for payment approval by Facilities budget holders.With previous administration and helpdesk experience, you’ll have high level customer service skills, able to establish credibility with managers and understand the business need. You’ll have strong IT and keyboard skills, familiar with MS Office and able to learn new systems and put them into practice.Able to write clear and concise reports and produce and analyse data making appropriate recommendations, you’ll have highly developed communication, interpersonal and prioritisation skills, with accuracy to detail, good organisational skills and able to work individually and as part of a team with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.This post is based at Merton College but may involve travel between College sites.Closing date for the return of completed applications is 30th January 2025. The benefits package includes generous annual leave of 27 days plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees’ physical and mental health. Front of House Facilities Coordinator Your new company  A highly successful commercial real-estate and investment organisation that provides managed office services for its clients. Your new role  As the facilities' coordinator, you will be covering the front of house and reception. You'll meet and greet clients and colleagues, manage the reception and helpdesk inbox and raise response work on the system, deal with customer queries, and any other duties that may arise. Supporting regional facilities' manager as needed. You will need to conduct daily safety checks for compliance purposes as well as sign goods onto the site and support the office manager with their duties. This is a temporary position that will require the person to work from the 20th February to the 17th March. What you'll need to succeed  Previous experience working in the front of house would be beneficial. You will need good communication skills. Hours are 8am–5pm and there is parking available on site.
