If this sounds like you, then get your application in now!What you will be doing: <ul><li>Design and deliver HSEF strategy through the development and implementation of improvement plans, policies, procedures, and best practices across the business</li><li>Ensure legal compliance of HSE and Facilities in the UK and oversee international suppliers for HSE in India, France and Australia</li><li>Create and drive net-zero plans</li><li>Deliver HSEF services for our UK offices, including our fleet of vans and cars which are managed through a third party</li><li>Manage project initiatives ensuring on time, in full, to quality outcomes</li><li>Implement new third-party service providers and ensure service levels are met</li><li>Build, monitor and report on KPIs, identifying areas for improvement</li><li>Management of all direct reports and ensuring high levels of service are continually delivered by the team</li><li>Provide compliance guidance, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility</li><li>ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation and management</li><li>Financial management of budgets within area of responsibility which will include creating cost benefit analysis and returns on investment</li></ul>What we are looking for:<ul><li>Demonstrable experience in a senior HSEF (manager or head of department) role in an organisation of more than 500 employees</li><li>NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent Health and Safety qualifications</li><li>Strong people management skills, with experience leading and developing teams</li><li>A resilient, robust personality with a practical approach towards HSE compliance</li><li>Demonstrable experience in creation and execution of strategies for HSE</li><li>Demonstrable experience managing Facilities</li><li>Experienced at managing suppliers and third parties, ensuring contracted goods and services are delivered</li><li>Budget management and financial analysis skills</li><li>Ability to plan, prioritise and track projects, teamwork and tasks in a busy environment</li><li>Computer and IT literate - specific focus on all Microsoft Office systems</li><li>Commercial and financial awareness in a corporate environment</li><li>Valid UK driving licence and flexibility to visit our satellite offices on an ad-hoc basis </li></ul>Why Microlise?When your groceries arrive at your door or you sign for your online parcel, one or more of our software, telematics or proof-of-purchase solutions has probably been used. On a day-to-day basis you will assist in the monitoring and development of the Company Health and Safety Management System as well as supporting accident and incident deviations/investigations and cascade any improvements and lessons learnt. Duties include:- <ul><li>Support Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager in developing key policies and procedures, ensuring suitable and sufficient instructions are determined and communicated as appropriate.</li><li>Manage and distribute SHE documents and assist with maintaining SHE systems to ensure accurate compliance.</li><li>Work closely with SHEQ Manager, Performance Team and Plant Managers to establish and maintain key SHE improvements.</li><li>Support the implementation of SHE training in respect of maintaining statutory levels of training and competence.</li><li>Promote good SHE practices by training and educating all key staff.</li><li>Assist in carrying out site audits internal and external ensuring compliance with all associated legislation and management system requirements.</li><li>Participate and support in accident and incident investigations.
