The Opportunity

 Reporting to the Plant Manager, the HR Manager leads and influences the HR activities at the Bradford Poultry facility. The Human Resources Manager has the direct accountability for ensuring that the Human Resources planning and results (Performance Management, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Recognition, Training and Development, Engagement and Communication) are aligned to meet the Plant and MLF operations and business needs. This leader should clearly know and understand the value of maximizing employee discretionary performance, through an engaging leadership style. They should clearly understand that sustainable long-term results can only be achieved through a team that understands and focuses their energy on the key objectives that drive success, has the skill set needed to execute against the business need, and has a high desire to contribute and win

A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do: 

  • Manage the Human Resources function to ensure that key HR initiatives are aligned with the Plant operational strategy.
  • Act as a business partner to the Plant Manager and members of the Site Leadership team in delivering the plant business objectives and ensuring high engagement of our people
  • Primary deliverables include tools and interventions in the areas of performance management, work environment practices, rewards and recognition, retention, leadership development, compensation, employee development and advancement, diversity and employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure that Human Resources Key Performance Indicators such as Attendance, Turnover, Retention are tracked and monitored.
  • Facilitate execution of plant operations and corporate programs (e.g. succession planning, orientation, PAD and DAP planning etc.).
  • Prepares and effectively administers the HR budget and ensuring effective control to ensure that spending is within budget.
  • Drives Continuous Improvement initiatives related to Human Resources.
  • Develops and drives the execution of an annual HR Plan for the facility which focuses on the delivery of key Plant and Corporate HR initiatives.
  • Coach, motivate and develop the HR Coordinator

What you will bring:

  • Post-secondary degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Commerce or Business Administration.
  • CHRL designation is preferred.
  • Minimum eight to ten years previous related experience with at least three years’ management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • A well-developed HR Professional with a solid Generalist and Change Management background
  • A proven track record of proactively leading positive employee relations business unit/client group.
  • Passionate about coaching, mentoring and developing people to achieve positions of greater responsibility.
  • Strong business and operational acumen particularly within manufacturing and/or food processing.

With the implementation in 2017 of our state of the art technology and brand new call centre, we improved the journeys and the experience of the nearly 75000 daily users.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Officer to join our busy team to play a key role in sourcing, assessing, and onboarding employees for our call centres in Leeds city centre and in Runcorn.  Previous experiences of working in a call centre, or similar environment would be a major advantage. 

Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the recruitment process, assessing candidates through interviews and providing hiring outcomes. 

The jobholder will partner with the line managers to oversee relevant aspects of the recruitment process including conducting interviews, preparing assessment packs, etc Managing the pipeline to deliver on target to timely deadlines is required, alongside providing timely management information on pipelines and resourcing activity.

In addition, the jobholder will work with line managers in developing and hosting internal assessment centre activity and to participate in ad hoc projects within the wider HR team, especially related with employer brand awareness and promotion in social media.

Skills knowledge and experience required:

•Passionate about recruitment and candidate care, having previous recruited in a call centre or service business environment.
•Agile, flexible and comfortable working across a range of business functions.

Experience of handling employee relations case work

  • Post-secondary degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Commerce or Business Administration.

I am working with a financial services organisation recruit into their fantastic team and business.

Reporting to the Finance Director/ Head of Business Services, you will manage two HR Administrators and their targets and day to day workload. You will be responsible for all HR services and administration to include management of processes and polices, management of all on boarding and off boarding to include seasonal contracts and project work. The Opportunity

 Reporting to the Plant Manager, the HR Manager leads and influences the HR activities at the Bradford Poultry facility. The Human Resources Manager has the direct accountability for ensuring that the Human Resources planning and results (Performance Management, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Recognition, Training and Development, Engagement and Communication) are aligned to meet the Plant and MLF operations and business needs.
