The Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Embryologist to begin their career in a leading fertility group. Our team of trained and experienced embryologists will provide training in all basic clinical procedures and help the successful candidate work towards HCPC registration. Our trainees are registered on the TFP Training Scheme which provides a structured framework for delivering both practical and theoretical training. As well as training in clinical procedures, trainees will also learn other processes and skills, including patient communication, regulatory compliance, quality control/assurance, donor recruitment, witnessing and traceability. The Location:Nurture Fertility was established in 1991 and due to the passion, expertise and reputation of our team, has grown into a leading fertility clinic. Providing treatment to both NHS and private patients, Nurture Fertility performs approximately 700 fresh cycles and 500 frozen cycles per year. Offering a full suite of treatment and diagnostic services, including PGT. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Nottingham, adjacent to junction 25 of the M1, there is ample free parking for staff and patients at the front of the building. Our state-of-the-art laboratory was purpose built in 2014 and is equipped with the latest equipment and monitoring systems that support us in achieving excellent outcome KPI’s. Nurture Fertility also has a 5/5 inspection rating from the HFEA. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Performing egg collections, inseminations, fertilization checks, embryo grading/transfer, cryopreservation, andrology and dish preparation.</li><li>Communicating with patients about their treatment cycle</li><li>Assisting with quality control and participating in quality assurance</li><li>Monitoring/maintaining consumables and equipment.</li><li>Regulatory Compliance</li><li>Completing TFP Training Scheme and working towards HCPC Registration</li></ul>Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of a degree in Life Sciences, an MSc or PhD is preferable.</li><li>Experience in a laboratory environment is preferable.</li><li>Good manual dexterity skills</li><li>Must be self-motivated, eager to learn and have excellent time management skills.</li><li>High level of attention to detailed and focused</li><li>Resilient and hard working</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li></ul>Salary: Depending on experience Location: TFP Nurture Fertility - Nottingham Working Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 07.30-15.30<ul><li>Weekend and bank holidayrotation is required</li></ul>Pension: Dual contribution pension schemeHoliday Entitlement: 27 Days + Bank holidays Parking: Free

As well as providing a significant contribution to the clinical workload, the successful candidate will have opportunities to be involved in training junior embryologists, internal quality control, donor recruitment, organising imports/exports and supporting in the management of stored gametes/embryos. The Location:Boston Place was established in 2013 and provides treatment to private patients in contemporary surroundings. Boston Place performs approximately 300 fresh cycles and 200 frozen cycles per year and offers a full suite of treatment and diagnostic services, whilst specialising in PGT. The clinic is conveniently located adjacent to Marylebone Station in central London. Our state-of-the-art laboratory was purpose built in 2013 and is equipped with the latest laboratory equipment and monitoring systems that support us in achieving excellent outcome KPI’s. Boston Place also has a 5/5 inspection rating from the HFEA. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Full range of clinical procedures, including ICSI & vitrification</li><li>Communicating with patients about treatment options and results</li><li>Quality Management, assisting with audit & quality control/quality assurance</li><li>Monitoring/maintaining consumables and equipment.</li><li>Assisting with the donor recruitment process, imports/exports and management of stored gametes/embryos</li><li>Assisting in training and induction of new and junior staff</li><li>Regulatory Compliance</li></ul>Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of a degree in Life Sciences, an MSc or PhD is preferable</li><li>HCPC Registered (or immediately eligible)</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience</li><li>Fully trained in all clinical laboratory procedures, preferably including biopsy</li><li>Good knowledge of the UK Regulatory Framework</li><li>Must be self-motivated, eager to learn and have excellent time management skills.</li><li>High level of attention to detailed and focused</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li></ul>Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience)Location:TFP Boston Place - London Hours of work: 37.5 hours08.00-16.00 with rotational requirements to start earlier or finish later as required.
