Senior Software Developer / Development Team Lead (Edinburgh City Centre). This is an opportunity to join a growing consultancy/digital agency who also develop their own in-house products. They are experiencing a period of growth; their existing clients are keeping them busy and there's also new clients and projects kicking off!
They know that technology plays a big role in any company's success - which is why they are focused on helping their clients to get it right.
Their core technology stack is built around modern .NET, but you will be working on bespoke products for a range of clients (who may have different technology stacks) so you need to be flexible and up for learning new things. The role involves working closely with clients and so it is important that you have strong written and verbal communication skills.
In the last year, the Development team has grown from 8 to circa twenty. They are now keen to hire a Senior Software Developer / Development Team Lead to guide and mentor the existing team and be involved in the strategy side.
They're very flexible and there's no micro-management. It's up to you to manage your time. The team are currently working remotely and there will be flexibility post-Covid.
They also offer "10% time" meaning that you can spend a portion of your working week on side projects, upskilling or training in new technologies.
The salary on offer is £45,000-55,000 (+ 10% annual bonus). There's real scope for career development with this role (potentially moving into a Development Manager position).
You don't need to be an expert with everything, but you'll be working with the following:

Joining them you may not have previous experience with Ruby on Rails (Python, PHP, Java etc all fine) but you'll learn quickly with the support of your colleagues.
