Job Description
  • To undertake the planned maintenance and repair of the Electrical equipment, of building(s) as required under contract
  • To carry out any other handyman/semi-skilled/basic plumbing or fabric tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment Including, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, Batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Concept definition of digital architecture & blocks

  • Debug of RTL/gate level simulations/failures to root cause

Job Description

Please note that this role is working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 08:30 - 16:00.

  • To perform equipment servicing, maintenance, calibrations and performance verification as required to ensure that equipment is fit for purpose at all times.
  • Assisting in the efficient operation of the laboratory, to ensure that schedules are met and that the quality of work meets specified standards. 
  • Responsible jointly with all other members of staff to ensure that the laboratory is a safe environment, and that appropriate safety equipment is available and used.
  • Performing duties in accordance with the requirements of cGLP/cGMP systems locally. Manage the maintenance schedule and ensure that laboratory equipment remains in calibration and functions as required to ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory guidelines.
  • Set up service contract agreements where external engineers are required.  Ensure that activities are planned to provide an accurate and timely service to support business requirements.
  • Keep Laboratory Manager informed on a regular basis of progress and any circumstances which alter agreed timescales. Identify incidents of out of specification and anomalous results, working in conjunction with the Laboratory Manager, Managing Director and the QA department.
  • Ensure that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in all work areas. Instruct staff if housekeeping standards are not being followed. Provide other staff with technical support and training as required regarding use of equipment. All other tasks as delegated by the Laboratory Manager or Managing Director.
  • Perform maintenance, calibrations and performance verification of equipment as necessary to adhere to the maintenance schedule.
  • Ensure adequate supplies of materials, spares and consumables are available to support ongoing projects.
  • Perform troubleshooting on equipment issues in conjunction with the Laboratory Manager, Managing Director and the QA department.
  • Record maintenance and calibration data in appropriate lab books and QA documents.
  • Analysis of data (including statistical analysis)
  • Manage equipment database, providing advice regarding planned replacement and upgrading of equipment.
  • Write or review technical documentation such as SOPs and analytical methods.
  • Ensure timely logging of incoming chemicals, reference standards and analytical columns. Maintain logs to remove expired and empty chemicals.
Qualifications
  • Good secondary education.
  • Previous maintenance background
  • Appropriate experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent. Minimum 10 years

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new pixel & system architectures for next generation dToF sensors
  • Develop custom analog/mixed signal blocks for LiDAR sensors

  • Custom layout analog/mixed-signal blocks and pixel/pixel arrays
  • Define digital control block requirements
  • Verify internal/external IP blocks
  • Evaluate and characterise SPADs, pixel circuits and sensors

REQUIREMENTS

  • PhD in SPAD sensor design, ideally with industrial design exeprience.
  • Strong, in-depth understanding of the state of the art in SPAD technologies
  • Solid understanding of design trade-offs for circuit performance e.g. noise, power, area, speed
  • Experience in some of the following: TCAD, dToF pixel circuits, TCSPC systems
  • Some experience running top-level sensor simulations preferred
  • Experience of bench testing, characterisation and debug of ToF image sensors
  • Good verbal and written technical communications skills
