Shift Electrical Engineer
As a shift electrical engineer you will ensure the smooth running and maintenance of key production equipment using your specialist engineering knowledge whilst delivering optimum plant reliability through preventative maintenance and electrical testing, including fault finding and problem solving.
Key responsibilities of Electrical Engineer:
Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Qualifications/Requirements
Time served apprentice with an Electrical bias holding 17th or 18th edition
Knowledge of servo drives and inverters
PLC knowledge would be advantageous
Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
Ideally a multi-disciplined engineer with FMCG experience
Lean experience and control skills are ideal but not essential
Strong team player who adopts a continuous improvement approach
Computer literate

The Job
We are looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer, with building services design experience, based in our Godalming or possibly Cardiff office.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager the successful candidate will be involved in the building services design process from initial conception through to final production and integral in driving ambitious projects forward with our discipline experts, partners and prestigious clients.
The Principal Electrical Engineer prepares discipline designs for projects at their various stages including calculations, schedules, design drawings, specifications and other details as necessary for the project. They work as part of in-house multi-discipline project design teams contributing to the design activities and providing designer deliverables.
The candidate
With a degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) candidates are likely to be Chartered or working towards Chartership. They will have upwards of 10 years post graduate electrical building services design engineering experience preferably in hospital engineering, life sciences, pharamceutical, bio-technology, laboratories, industrial or scientific projects.
In addition candidates must be confident, articulate, professional communicators with strong presentation skills. They will be a proactive, dynamic and a reliable leader and project team member who can support more junior members of the team where required.

Electrical Engineer
An exciting position has become available for a number of Electrical Engineers to join a friendly team based in South East London, however the contracts all tend to be based in London or the surrounding areas. There will be no fixed area for works so you must be prepared to travel anywhere in the London region. The successful candidate will earn £32,000 - £40,000.
They are looking for electricians who are able to start immediately or within a couple of weeks ideally but can be flexible for the right candidate.
Role Requirements
•The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
•Commercial Project experience, Domestic Electrical Testing experience, Street Lighting and Car Charging. Ideally the candidates will have experience in all of these but it is not essential.
•Experience in testing but a 2391 (or equivalent) qualification is NOT essential but would be beneficial.
•Candidates must have experience in fault finding.
Role Responsibilities
•The company have several projects commencing ranging from School works, Lateral mains and emergency lighting upgrades and FRA works.
•The companyhave several housing associations contracts which require testing and upgrades to domestic properties and communal areas. All test certification is carried out on a tablet (iPad), so a knowledge of form filling is essential (help and training will be provided if necessary).
•The types of works vary from fuse board changes, to kitchen rewire, full rewires, accessories changes through to reactive maintenance & Project Works.
•The works vary from changing light fittings, switches, sockets etc through to rewires and Distribution board changes. We also do communal works and street lighting repairs and upgrade.
•If commercial works are limited, the company are able to provide works on the testing or maintenance project thus they are never in a position of having to let people go once a project come to an end.

Pay £280 - £300 per day dependent on experience
Electrical Project Engineer's will be needed to work for leading contractors in the water and wastewater industry. Initially involved in the design and procurement of equipment, leading to overseeing the Electrical installation of this project. Previous water experience will be essential for these roles.
You will be responsible:
To be considered for this role you should hold an Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent and have a proven track record in a site based or project management role in the water industry.
