This is a challenging role requiring you to work within the rules, regulations, and guidelines of over 20 examination boards. You will administer the approval of all examination access arrangements for students sitting both online and written examinations. Administration and data validation will play a big part in this role; to ensure the correct patients are called for vaccination at the local site at the correct time in line with government guidance and records are accurately maintained. Strong IT, systems and Excel skills are crucial, but training in the systems used will be provided.
Responsibilities will also include contacting patients, planning and scheduling housebound visits, managing vaccination rotas, liasing with care homes and other residential facilities, and attending and minuting online meetings in relation to the vaccination effort.
The role will be based predominantly at Bersted Green Surgery, which is housed in a purpose built building on the outskirts of Bognor Regis and cares for around 13,500 patients. You will work with a variety of individuals in our close knit team, including administration, reception, nursing, paramedics, GPs and the business manager.
